Love the hot yoga classes here, especially the early morning ones. Also got a massage, and was impressed!

Well maintained, clean, excellent instructors and staff. Everyone is friendly. I love Morgan's intentions that she sets at the beginning of each class and how challenging her classes are. She is an inspirational person to learn from.

I enjoyed the size and pacing of class. Sarah was clear explaining positions, suggestions for levels of strength and kept a good energy. My first time at Vinyasa and planning to come back. Thanks for an invigorating session.

I have had a few massages at Urban Yoga Spa and all of them have been fantastic - highly recommend this place! I had a different massage therapist each time, and all of them were great.

Im a trans woman who came here for waxing.
I made an appointment and the waxer refused to work with me because I am transgender and she, "doesnt work with me because it could make her husband jealous."
I was barred from using the women's restroom by an employee.
A manager eventually talked the technician into working with me but she misgendered me constantly and kept talking about how she wanted to charge me more because she considered me a man.

I was not charged for my visit as I was crying as I left.

They have done nothing to make their space inclusive for LGBT people, and have not replied to my reviews or emails.

I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

Great atmosphere, a yoga oasis in downtown Seattle. I was just visiting Seattle for a few days and found this yoga spa to be a great place to relax, practice yoga, and enjoy some really really good coffee too. The friendly staff went out of their way to be helpful. I'll be back.

Massage with Rachel was just what I needed. Was great to have the option to shower afterwards. As a massage therapist, I can highly recommend Rachel! Do yourself a favor, always get at least a 90-minute session!

My favorite yoga studio. It is too bad I don't live close anymore but I had fond memories practicing here.

I'm a trans woman and I do not recommend this establishment for any LGBTQ+ people. I was promised a set rate for a bikini wax, but when I arrived the technician refused to work with me and continually insisted that I am a man. A member of the management intervened and convinced the waxer to work with me, but this was little more than ushering us into a room together and hoping for the best. Throughout the session I was misgendered, and my technician insisted that she charge me extra and that I tip extra because she said I am a man. I tried to visit the restroom as I left, and the technician yelled at me for trying to use the woman's restroom. I left the establishment without peeing, and held my bladder for 5 blocks until I found a safe place nearby with a gender neutral restroom.

Waxing, especially a bikini wax, is a very personal and vulnerable experience. Anyone who works with people's sensitive bodies should be educated on LGBT+ people and their needs.

As I left the studio I was in tears. The management did not charge me for my session and suggested another technician who might be better suited for me, but the experience was painful and will have long lasting effects for me.
