Bala yoga is one of the most welcoming fitness spaces I've been in. Every time I'm there for class, I am greeted so warmly as if everyone who works the front desk knows me. Also, the classes are stellar. I've never taken a class with a teacher who disappointed. The sequences, music and temperature - they've got it right. Thank you Bala Yoga team for making my yoga experience consistently so lovely.
Beautiful studio in the perfect location. I love the studio atmosphere and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Everything is very well maintained and definitely one of the cleanest studios I've been to in Seattle. Quality of instructors here is really top notch and class variety works great with my schedule. Hard to beat this studio.
Bala is such an amazing yoga studio! The teachers are amazing, the studio is clean, warm and inviting. I always feel refreshed, stronger and more at peace after my practice and look forward to my next visit. Thank you for creating a space that promotes self care, community and every day joy!

I am giving a neutral 3 stars. Not bad. Not amazing. I realize that there is a lot of competition in opening up yoga studios in Seattle - or any big city. And the truth is, we all like good aesthetics and a fresh feeling practice space. But this is one of those places where the ommm and spirit has been replaced with modern fancy decor and a little bit of uppity behavior.

Went for a relaxing yoga class and was greeted by a large great dane in the lobby, non working computer and (going for the first time) no help/direction on where to go. The bathrooms are not great and studio needs to be painted/updated. Once in the studio, it was was filled with gossiping/chattering girls, who had to be "shushed" by other people in the class. Parking was a pain. With an abundance of yoga studios in Seattle, I would pick something else. Not a fan and won't return.

Friendly teachers and staff, and so close to my house and in a great area of town. Seems like it is a growing studio and will be amazing just like the Kirkland studio:)

This is an awesome yoga studio, after going through a few local studios in Fremont and Seattle this is one of the best. The studio is large and always clean. The studio is warm not hot which I like. The instructors style is dynamic and staff are always welcoming and helpful. I always have alot Of questions on health and yoga fundimentals so they are patient. I would definitely recommend for people to try, as I have been going for a while now.
