Best place for every workout. They have saunas and hot tubs! Love the racket ball and fitness classes. I am a member for life.
4 on 4 mid-day pick-up basketball is popular and competitive, with a team or two waiting MWF. I have done a few of the workout classes, and the instructors have been up-peat and fun. I have found the staff to be generally pleasant and the facilities satisfactory over the last year.
Seattle Athletic Club is a great place to train and elevate your game. The staff is super friendly, the instructors are great, the group classes really fun and motivating and the club truly supports their members with one-to-one sessions, advices, etc... Plus they have all the facilities (from an indoor running track to a 20-yards pool), right in the city center. I can only recommend this place!
What a great place to work out. Place is very clean. Lots of room to exercise. Employees were friendly and very helpful. I really e joyed the workout. I recommend this place.

Seattle Athletic Club is unlike any Health Club I've ever been a part of. The staff truly care about each person and push you to be the best version of yourself. The facilities are wonderful but the thing I love the most is the amazing people I've met and how welcoming the environment is.
Scammy billing practices and hopelessly bad customer service. Nobody will ever be able to help you either, because it's "not my department, you'll need to be transferred". At one point, the front desk person "Kiery" just started hanging up on me. I would expect a little bit better services from a club that charges so much for membership.
Needs a facelift, but the gym is solid, the staff is helpful. Never overcrowded, never a wait for any machine.

I toured here because it is very close to my home. The spot seemed nice enough. After touring the WAC and Rainer Club I realized this spot was charging way more than either of those two clubs for MUCH less (no restaurant, no hotel, not as good a gym). They told me they are willing to work with people though on stuff as long as you don't take advantage of them. I told them we'd like to join because of location but I brought up the price difference and asked if they could match pricing. They said no. Perhaps I've bought one too many used cars but I listen to what people are willing to do and not say. I would highly recommend staying away from this place until their rates come down. Also if you look on google you'll see that all recent reviews have been very negative indicating my experience is not alone. If you want a top level club check out Rainer or WAC.

The staff I spoke with say the manager, Rob, and the operations woman, Sam, rule by terror - bring up an issue and you are as likely to be fired as anything else. The sad part was this used to be a good place, with an engaged, able staff.

I was in Seattle for a week and this gym provided the perfect space for regular workouts. Equipment is plentiful and the weights area was never too crowded (a big advantage over my gym at home!). The staff were able to organise a satisfying short-term membership deal for my girl and me which was much appreciated. The class schedule is also appealing, though we didn't attempt any during our stay.
Great staff, I had an issue with a billing practice, but they resolved it in a fair compromise. Changing my one star to a five star after my experience.
I cancelled with them months ago, and I have continued to receive a bill. The gym itself is okay, a little expensive for what you are getting.

I you are serious about getting into shape, this is the place. I saw major changes in my body in 2 "groupon" months!
Lots of rooms, weight room, cardio room, squash and basketball courts, free group exercises. Great for professionals working downtown and not wishing to work out far from work.
