Combat Arts Academy is a great academy for both kids and adults to start or continue their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing journeys. Top level instruction in a family friendly environment, the vibe is welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. I highly recommend checking this place out for locals and people visiting Seattle!

Had a great meeting with Sonya (owner?) with my family. This is a very professional outfit. It is time to get some Jiu Jitsu training for my kids so we are looking. We had a great visit she spent quality time talking to us (by appointment). Family price is fair but beyond our current budget as I am a stay at home dad for now.
I highly recommend you check this place out if you want to learn one of the best martial arts in the world.
A great gym and an amazing resource for the West Seattle. Excellent kid and adult programs, excellent coaches, great family-friendly atmosphere yet serious and competitive when/if you want it to be. The group at SBG Seattle truly care about the success of the community that's been built inside the gym and are extremely passionate about helping the community of West Seattle as a whole.

This is the most amazing and positive place, best coaches in the world. This place really gives you the feeling that not only are you a part of something amazing but also that you are truly a part of the community. If you are asking yourself if you should join I would not hesitate you tell you yes!
Love going here. If you're interested in getting in to a fitness, martial arts, or boxing class I can't give this place enough praise. The folks who run it are incredibly nice and welcoming. Everybody in the gym is willing to help you out and I have never once felt intimidated when working out or participating in a class (as I have in other gyms).
If you're looking for a family-type atmosphere and want to get in shape, learn a new skill, or get seriously into BJJ I would strongly suggest dropping in and talking with someone about what they do.
