Such great coaches! They really work to give you the best direction and support. And, they're just really great people - super friendly and kind! Love it here!
They are AWESOME. I love to be part of the team.
Nice drop in experience!
I have never been as comfortable in a gym as I am here. Everything is tailored for your needs and never an ounce of judgment. Whatever your goals are Monica will help you get it done. Highly recommend.
Terrific gym! Super friendly and encouraging coaches create a positive environment. The WODs are well designed and properly challenging. 5 stars!
Friendly coaches and members. Great gym.
I highly recommend a visit to CrossFit Twenty Pound Hammer. The coaches are friendly, knowledgable, experienced, and encouraging. They emphasize safety through proper technique and provide an individualized experience even in a group class setting.
Members range in ability/CF experience from brand new to CrossFit, including those who may be finding their way into (or back into) a workout routine, to seasoned competition-level athletes who make muscle ups look easy and a barbell stacked with 45# plates look light. (...I am not one of the latter.) Modifications or scaling options for movements are always provided, ensuring anyone can participate and have a great workout, regardless of experience or fitness level.
One of the aspects people value most about CrossFit is the community it fosters, and "the Hammer" is no exception. Members' kids and dogs are welcome and frequent spectators; events include summer BBQs, winter ski trips, and intra-gym partner competitions; and the first Saturday of every month is "Bring a Friend" (for free!) day.
Drop-in visitors are encouraged, and many classes begin with a fun icebreaker during warm up to get to know guests and new members. As for facilities, the space is clean and open, with high ceilings, a dedicated lifting area, and all your standard CrossFit equipment. Parking is free and plentiful. Come visit us!

Challenging workouts (including scaled/modified variations when needed), great coaches, fun atmosphere, and a supportive community. I love this place!

Crossfit Twenty Pound Hammer is everything I'd been hoping for. I'm pushed harder than I pushed myself when going to the gym alone, but there is also a good community of people to "suffer" through workouts with. There is definitely a sense of community and the gym is both kid and dog friendly. Plus, the coaches are great at what they do, including scaling down exercises to match the skill and abilities of gym members. What more could you ask for?

This place is awesome! I always get a great workout and the people that attend class are fun to be around. The trainers are great and are always helping me get better at the stuff i need to work on.

I've been a member for six months and I am now attending classes five days a week (from two days a week) and I feel great! Super supportive community to workout with. The coaches are on point and help everyone achieve good form and set high standards. I have a manual labor based job and have incurred injuries while at work; the coaches are able to scale any movement or lift to my personal needs. I love this gym.

Dropped in from out of town and felt surprisingly welcome!
Friendly and supportive
I have only been going to this box for a month, but it's clear to me this is a great place. Monica and Steve are so attentive and supportive and so are the other people taking the classes. I highly recommend this place to both experienced athletes and the inexperienced like me. You will be made to feel welcomed either way.
Steve and Monica are great. Brilliantly good training. Highly recommended.
