Michael is not only an amazing person, but also an amazing therapist.

I have been going to him for months now and since the beginning, have watched what an attentive listener he is and how skillfully he has brought awareness to the part of my body that have been calling out for attention in ways, by myself, has been difficult.

When the session starts, there is generally an intake of "what is going on currently". Through that, we start the session. He generally gives me an idea of what he thinks would be a good idea to start from, as in a general basic structure.

The beauty that for me, Michael shares is to allow space for other things that may and do arise in a session, to also listen and take into account, to those as well.

I generally give him feedback in each moment something shifts in my body and feel he is excellent at receiving it. He also is attentive at noticing when I too, have some sort of breath that may be out of the ordinary and asks if I'm okay.

I have noticed amazing changes before, during and after each session with my body form, postural awareness, pain cessation, emotional responses and feel wholly different each and every time.

He has a sensitive touch but can also get into those uncomfortable spaces with a firmness that need it as well.

Professional, personable and sensitive.

Absolutely worth the personal investment of self caring.

I live in Maine, and had the pleasure of meeting Mike while he was living here. I had been dealing with chronic pain following two spinal surgeries, I was able to have the incredible opportunity to have acupuncture treatment with Mike. Prior to meeting Mike I have utilized every possible conservative treatment available for the past fifteen years,( including acupuncture) none of which did much to help. Mike spent time listening to me, he explained what his approach to my care would be and why. His work with the needles was painless and resulted in me feeling better than I had in years. I only wish Mike were here in Maine and not Seattle as I would have him be an ongoing part of my effort to stay healthy and active. Seattle is lucky to have him as a resource .. Check him out !
