Experienced and friendly staff members that will guide your child down the road to gymnastics success. Nothing handed to the kids here... they will have to work hard for sure. Highly recommended!

My daughter indicated her interest to get into competitive gymnastics. We went to this center, the front desk person was nice and we were asked to come the following week at 7 pm for assessment. We showed up for the scheduled assessment and my daughter was asked to join a class. I was wondering why she would do a class when we had come in just for an assessment, thought the coach in the class would be the one evaluating her. 5 min into the class, I figured that it was a beginners class. The front desk person pointed to one of the coach that was coaching another class and told me she will keep an 'eye' on my daughter and assess how she was doing. I didn't how they would do that. Half way through the class, the front desk person came over and told me that my daughter wasn't a beginner(which I had already told them) and guessed the next level would be the right one. The 55 min class was finally over and there was no sign of any coach that was actually "assessing" her, neither the one that was in the current class, nor the one that I was told was keeping an 'eye' on my daughter. I didn't get to talk to any coach. I was extremely disappointed with this negligent attitude. Such a waste of time! Ofcourse, I decided not to enroll my daughter here.
She now takes classes in another gymnastics center and we are very happy with the way she was assessed, her current lessons as well as the level of interaction/feedback they have between the coach and the parent.

I really enjoy bringing my 2 year old here. She has so much fun and begs to come all week. The front desk staff are friendly and the instructors for toddlers are awesome, very patient and knowledgeable!

Great gymnastics program for kids of all skill levels. Coach's are good and really care. Classes are popular and space is limited in many of the classes with waiting lists for the most popular ones.

Its a good place if you have older kids that a readu have experienced on gymnastics not to have your kids start there introduction to the world of gymnastics. I have my 3 year old toddler going to a class, he is like any other 3 year-old. the instructor came up to me at the end of the class and told me my son was very bad and that if it was to happends again, she wouldn't want him in her class. I don't understand what are they expecting from a 3 year old kid and it's not like if it is free for one, another thing is that if they have class from 3-5 year olds they should expect kids behavior, there instructors are not up to the challenge. I don't understand why they would be working there of they can't handle it.

I have a 7 year old daughter who has been going to this gym now for almost a month, and she loves it. I think she enjoys the variety of activities and movements. She has already made friends, the staff is friendly, most of the people have been friendly at this point. She was going to Metropolitan gymnastics for about 5 months and she used to complain it was too difficult. Now I understand that people don't like to be taken out of their comfort zone so I used to push her just to try, but her Saturday class would come and she never wanted to go and I had to explain to her that I had paid for it. I must say she hasn't complained about going to Hart's gymnastics and is excited to go every time. What I do like is the program that they offer to low-income or families that receive free lunch at school, your child is eligible to receive a discount if you go through the City of Kent and instead of paying I believe 75 to $80 you only pay half that cost for an entire month of classes. So there's a plug for them! I definitely appreciate them working with the city to offer their program to less fortunate children and families. To my knowledge Metropolitan gymnastics did not offer a discount program. In addition, at Hart's gymnastics I did notice the girls are very good at bar work, balance beams, and the coaches seem very serious as well as the kids. I think we're going to stay at this place for a while I would definitely recommend this place and if you cannot afford it go through the City of Kent and ask for the scholarship program and pick a program for your child that they would enjoy it doesn't have to necessarily be gymnastics.

The technical training my granddaughter received was ok, but the emotional abuse was unforgivable. She is still having Hart's Gymnastics nightmares. On repeated occasions I requested meetings with management, but was denied. Clearly, there appears to be a lack of concern regarding their negative impact upon the life of a young girl. I strongly suggest avoiding Hart's!

The staff are kind and good to kids but the owner is unfriendly and a bit rude. The young female coaches are really good with the lil kids.
