Best gym I've been to so far. It has a pool, a spa, a jet hot tub, and weight machines! I have bad knees so the pool really helps me out with that! Great place for basketball players and also they have a fight club too!
I'm a big supporter of LA fitness. But the LA fitness in Kent is not very clean. I just joined and I wasn't super impressed with the cleanliness. But I still enjoy my workouts there.
I go to this gym at least a few times a week for convenience and amenities. Dry sauna, hot tub, and large pool, as well as tons of cardio equipment upstairs.
Lots of equipment and free weights, and plenty of room inside, and for parking.
My biggest gripes would be poor equipment maintenance, and some break-ins have been happening, although the latter isn't really the fault of LA. Equipment should definitely be serviced sooner; there are a bunch of people that go here, so when equipment is down it is noticeable, and seems to take them weeks, if not months to repair. Overall a solid, good value gym.
They have WIFI now, awesomeness. The gym is clean and all the functions are available.
If you like to go to the gym in the morning be prepared for delays. Sometimes they can't get someone with a key to come and open the gym... The gym is generally clean and has lots of different equipment. Be careful when talking to sales reps as though can get locked into a contract. I only joined for the convenience.
We went here with guest passes from a friend. We were visiting from out of state. Initially, we thought our pass were activated via the other LA Fitness at Covington. Thus, we didn't bring our state IDs. The fitness monitor upfront was going to work with us and activate our passes with just digital identification. However, manager Steve came over and made it hard for us to get in since we didn't have physical identification. He had an unfriendly tone and rude to us from the beginning. We didn't feel welcome and will not return here.

It takes months to get a single piece of equipment repaired. I'm not exaggerating, there are two pieces of equipment that have been "scheduled for service" for literally at least 3 months.
Nice establishment could do a better job of keeping the locker rooms clean
Unfriendly staff. Dirty nasty gym. Nobody re-stacks the weights and the gym doesn't in force the gym rules. There can be trash left on the gym floor and the staff will walk right over it and will not pick it up. Very lazy staff completely different from any other gym the LA Fitness staff don't recognize you but you are the one who pays their wages they absolutely aren't polite they will not greet you when you walk in and they will not greet you when you walk out. Your treated like cattle at a slaughterhouse!

I have wanted to try this gym for a very long time. However, I wouldn't recommend the Zumba class with Gabriela. She is a terrible instructor. She doesn't even lead the class, she does a couple steps then relies on her students to do it. She does not introduce herself nor her class, she doesn't lead, she just watches herself in the mirror. No sense of direction at all. Difficult to follow. Find another class if you like Zumba. Very Disappointed. Too many other LA Fitness locations to even consider this one !!!
Worst stuff ever seen, the guy on front desk (don't know his name unfortunately, African American guy) didn't want to let me in by using my phone number on my account, it has my photo in and he was still really acting, talking unprofessional, never coming back again!!! Stay away from this location
Yesterday, my husband the lock her staff. Thief stole wallets with cards, keys, phone and clothes. We have already told the police. I have the hope that the criminal will be found and punished because they have tracked all the shops where the criminal was shopping. I believe that the administration should be responsible for the damage that occurs in the middle of the fitness. It turns out yesterday was committed not one theft.
Went to swim today and the pool heater is broken. Super cold but no notices up anywhere. Got quite a shock when I got it. Tried to swim but could not catch my breath. Too cold. Had any type of notice been put up, I would have used the weights or ran. Instead I am spending my time trying to warm up. Front desk knew of broken pool heater and said it would be fixed Tuesday. Still did not put up any sign.

Nice new gym. The staff is just there to collect a check. If you want to use kettle bells, they are only available in the private training room which you "can not access unless you pay for it". No hot tub. You have to go to another location if you want one. Some of the class instructors are pretty great though.

Large gym with basketball court and pool. The hot tub seems a bit dirty and the parking lot has a lot of garbage laying around. Overall gets pretty crowded during peek hours. The yoga class was very light here so would recommend a of the other la finesses near by.
Equipment is well maintained. Ladies locker room is cleaned regularly. Unknown about men's locker room.
There is a swimming pool at this location. As well as child care on schedule.
I wish they would enforce etiquette: put your damn weights away. And maybe disinfect the lockers every 5 years or so. The men's locker room is foul. Otherwise, a very affordable place to work out.

Has to be one of the dirtiest LA Fitness gyms I've been to. Go there when they open on Saturday or Sunday mornings and the locker room is littered with clutter from the night before. They don't clean up when they close, apparently. Also, the men's sauna usually reeks and the hot tub seems to work only half the time. This is supposed to be a health club, but there's nothing healthy about a dirty dump. My advice to LAF..clean this place up ( and some of your other locations) and maybe I'll start visiting again.
Always busy. Trainers working with people, people working alone or in teams. Clean facility. A lot of equipment. Good variety of classes.
