For now, I said Good. Why some people think that the facility have to constantly clean and complaint. It is pretty reasonable price compare to some other community center. People who using the facility also have to clean themselves after. Yes, I agreed with Lifeguards and some of staffs are rude and polite to certain Ethnic background only but I do understand when they have to deal with some ignorant people day by day..
Never had any problems here honestly, i go on my days off early in the mornings start off with 3 to 4 mile jog, usually not to busy sometimes older people in the way on the track because they dont read the sighns on the walls but whatever just dodge them. Then i lift weights, shower and then go for a quick swim then shower again you end up smelling like chlorine no matter what because they got to use alot because people dont shower or they use the restroom in the pools but thats whatd you expect i guess nothing anyone can do but teach their kids to get out of the pool. Super clean environment, its weird seeing naked old men in the locker room something ill never get use to. I wish there was younger people to run with :( have a good day.
I've been to many events at the Federal Way community center it is a nice place with large rooms you can rent and cater different events. There is a pool that's you can pay to swim. There are activities you can sign up for. It's best to get a community center book that lists a lot of their classes and activities. The only thing that I miss is it would be great to have a playground right there but there is a park and around celebration Drive that is very close. If you have any questions you can call the community center the staff there are all very friendly facility is kept clean it is a very nice Community Center. There is also a coffee bar snack bar with tables in one section that is very comfortable there are benches in the hallway and a game room restrooms it is a very nice place for both children and adults.
Great programs, I pay 75 bucks for a family of 5 to use everything in CC love it
Big beautiful spacious center. Many offerings for different exercise routines for all ages. Beautiful swimming pool. Indoor walking track. Lots of parking. Many interesting senior day trips. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff.
It's a great place, but you can see that they have never clean the play equipment in the recreational swimming pool it has residue of Clorox and rust.

The facility is in great condition and the locker rooms are always clean. They have 2 indoor pools with a water slide that is big enough for adults. You have to sign in and pay $8 or $5 for kids to get in. Here you can rock climb or attend a fitness class. They also have a basketball court, a small gym, 2 pool tables, and an indoor track.
Picked on us the whole time we were there to work out. 2 cones on the gym floor to shoot hoops and it was an issue without the gym even being close to full with open hoops everywhere. Told my boys they couldn't use the ROPES, but the MACHINE weights were ok? They were really splitting hairs and it felt like cause of our color. Felt like we were in a Trump ran facility rather than a place of peace to work out with family.

Great place to do whatever, but unless you have a membership, you have to sign in every time. But it is a very clean place, nothing to complain about.
This has been a great place to take my kids to play when I need a break from the norm. Also my daughter take swim classes here. Always enjoyed what is available at this community center.
Love this place. Swimming lessons, rock wall climbing, gym, fitness classes, sauna, has it all. Cost to get in for non members is alittle high. Other than that, a great place to be

The event staff met with us on a couple occasions to finalize details for the banquet room layout and were very prompt in all other communication during the planning process. On the day of the event everything happened as promised - many friends and family commented on how beautiful the venue was and how the event turned out. Thank you!

I worked with Susan Freeburg to plan a Celebration of Life event for my uncle who passed away at 48 yrs old. This was not an easy or fun thing to do. Susan was easy to contact during planning, very knowledgeable during the whole process in helping me decide on room layout, appropriate # of tables, chairs, etc. She always answered my questions via phone or email promptly and I felt confident the event would turn out great working with her. The day of our event the room was setup exactly like Susan and I had discussed and our celebration turned out wonderful. I would rent a banquet room from the FW Community Center in a heartbeat if the need ever arose again. Thank you Susan, and staff, for helping to make our celebration memorable (and for dealing with some of our emotional and intoxicated guests cordially).
Love the pool! Great for family fun and they even have a toddler time for very young kids that might be uncomfortable with how loud it can get. Membership rates are great but they also have a reasonable drop in rate. Great place for the entire family from babies to seniors.
I use the aquatics part of the facility mostly. But the facility has something for everyone (including: 4 family changing/shower cabanas and oversized lickers for families too).
LOVE the inclusion programs and Special Olympics sports based/managed out of FWCC! So exciting to finally have place for my family to belong.

This place is awesome! The staff are wonderful and the amount of programs included in the membership is unbeatable. They have a great cardio and weight room as well as multiple rooms for group classes. The gym is massive offering the basketball courts and a track for running above the courts.
The pool is great for laps and the kids pool is practically a water park.
Took my daughter to open swim, the locker room was less than hygienic and the pool was down right dirty. The play center was completely rusted in parts, the tiles were grimy and even green in some places. Then the water pressure on the kids park was so high my daughter had to close her eyes and kept walking into the metal poles, not safe. Not worth the money for a day pass, especially since you have to pay for a child and adult even if you're only there to follow your child.
Love this community center! So full of positive energy, well maintained facilities, well trained instructors, offering a vast variety of classes from the early morning to late evening. Need accountability to get your workout in? This is the place to come! The instructors and peers remember your name and question where you have been if you miss a class. All in a genuinely caring way. Love the super hot sauna and steam rooms. Great place for kids of all ages. Love seeing the interaction among babies, kids, parents and our elders. Just a great place!
It's very affordable and you get a lot more out of it than you pay for. It's my weekly ritual to swim and sauna there every Saturday. It's always a great experience with a quality facility.
It has a nice pool and gym, but if you come on The Daily pay method you have to fill out new paperwork every time.
We have been members here for years (since the first year it opened). Our whole family has come here for workout classes, swim lessons, and for PT after injuries. The equipment is usually in working order and there is a variety to chose from. The track is small, but on a nice day, you can walk or run in the park beside the center. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Mostly clean, safe place. If you are wanting to relax at all check the popular times for the place Google provides. It's accurate. Most peaceful time (no screaming children, no rude middle schoolers or grumpy elderly folks) is between 2 and 4.
Towels available for a dollar but they are often sold out.
Kids love swimming here. Family locker room could have used some heat though, was a little cold. Lots of activities and classes. Nicole place close to home.
