Poor customer services! I asked for a guest pass because I am looking for a gym close to me and they want you so sign up right away. Also rude attitude. Very bad experience! The gym itself looks great but because of the attitude I got there as a customer I would not recommend to anyone to go to this location. This guys need to review the chapter about customer service experience, it is important!!!
There is one and only one benefit of this club - it is close to my home.
There are so many disadvantages: unfriendly staff is one of them. My former trainer Michael never reply to my greetings as if he does not know me.
But worst of all for me is load music!!!
Many times I asked to reduce the volume of music. But it was senseless. The explanation is simple - high volume is essential for advertisements.
Recently remodeled and new equipment is available
I have been a member of LA Fitness for many years now. I started my membership in LA. I have been coming to this location in Bellevue since June and have had the worst experience ever. The staff is very rude and disrespectful. Not just with me but I have seen them treat other people the same. I had an incident there with the manager and the front desk person that made me very upset. I tried to escalate to the corp office but that did not get anywhere. I will not get into details since I have already wasted enough time explaining it. The front desk people are HORRIBLE. The place is not very well kept. I went this Sunday 11/10 and as you can see by the pictures I attached they simply don't care. ALL the trash cans out on the gym floor were over flowing while the staff hung out in the front and on there phones. They simply didn't seem to care. Unfortunately I have no where else to go so I keep going here. I simply avoid the staff at all costs, scan my badge and walk in. My work assignment ends in December and I can't wait to go back to my usual gym. For the sake of other customer I would hope that something gets done about how customers are treated and the up keep of this place.
I like working out here, unfortunately the front desk staff is incredibly rude! The only reason i continue to come to this location is because it is close to my work. I'm an office manager, and people who work at a front desk need to realize they're the first face people see when walking in the door, and the first impression is everything. I hope they eventually hire new front desk employees, because it is unbearable to even walk in the front door. For example... Today, I had just got done working out and went to the front desk to see if i left my water bottle somewhere. They were unwelcoming and said you can check the lost and found. I was really confused because their lost and found is actually behind them in their work space. I asked again where and he said right there and pointed to a box. I'm sorry but if you're working in customer service you should help your customers find what they're looking for. Other then that i enjoy the gym but if I had my choice I would go to a different gym, just because of the front desk. I wonder how many other people feel this way!?

Ever since new management I can tell the gym is in better shape and the staff are in much better spirits. I am always kindly greated when I walk in and the equipment is in decent shape of how much traffic comes through. Been a member for a little more than a year and I can tell the last 6 months here has been an improvement.

So, now for the last 5 months, out of the 10 channel number possibilities, we have had the local Fox channel on 2 different numbers and the national Fox channel on another one and no CNN.
The manager seems to always listen politely, assures me that CNN will be brought back within the next 2-3 days, sometimes tell me that it was working for couple of days when I was not there, and then something must have gone wrong (it is always the CNN channel amazingly replaced by the same local Fox channel, which ends up being on duplicate channels).
May be, someone higher up at LA Fitness will do something to correct this unfortunate political trend.

This place is great as far as gyms go. I usually go in the mornings to avoid the after-work rush. My only suggestion would be to buy more clips for barbells, and add some heavier dumbells (they only go up to 100). Other than that... keep up the good work!

The gym is fine but the staff is always on their cell phone. Would greet you may be once in a blue moon.
No one will ever come to restack the wieght, instead i have seen 4 to 6 people just standing at the reception and having fun. Not even one of them would greet any member.

Always a busy place, but workable. The music very mechanical, lot of nasal tones. Wide array of equipment, but scale in men's locker room often doesn't work.
Really good gym I love all the equipment they have there and it's all super easy to use.
Awesome place. Great personal trainer, nice people, but it is kind of crowded during peak hours do with out for that.

I can't say this for all of them, but at least a large majority of the people at the front desk are very off-putting. Rude/Snobby at best. I know this is something that happens with gym culture, there are a lot of narcissistic people in that environment, but this is the only gym in the chain that I've personally been to where all or most of the front desk staff isn't friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness: This gym is clean. I don't know where people get off saying it's not...I mean it's a gym it's not going to be sparkling clean 24/7 but it's as clean as any other gym I've ever been to. If you're "getting sick" after visiting the gym, maybe you should try sanitizing the equipment before using it. Grabbing a barbell without wiping it down then using that hand to pick your nose isn't the gyms fault.
Those things out of the way, it's a nice gym. It does get crowded, and I do find myself having to occasionally wait for equipment but it doesn't seem too bad unless I'm showing up between 5-7pm. They fortunately are good sized and have a lot of equipment to help with the crowd...I started going to the West Seattle location specifically to avoid this crowd, but it's even worse there because they are so tiny (AND they charge you an extra $10/month to go there).
I do wish they had towel service at all the LA Fitness locations, like 24 hour fitness does. It's a basic thing and it's silly that they can't provide that. But that's a reflection on the company as a whole, not this single location.
The juice bar is closed down and apparently has been for some time. It's a shame because there isn't one in a reasonable proximity. They should really consider bringing this back in.

Has the essentials in equipment. Locker rooms and showers are not the best or cleanest. Some equipment reserved for "VIP" personal training section
Less crowded than other clubs. But i don't like to go on Monday and Tuesday, because all the people come...
Always clean, knowledgeable staff, great trainers. Nice facilities!
My workout spot everyday.
They are clean and well maintained.
They have got an indoor swimming pool, squash and volleyball court.
Parking is available.
There is also Walmart & starbucks close to it.
Not crowded but if you're here as a guest, make sure you don't buy in with their promotion . Within 2 weeks, they claim to have different promotion but price is the same. Market scheme
personal trainer program is so expensive and the contract is ridiculous! Never join the personal trainer program! If you want to cancel the program, you have to pay more than $1700. They are irresponsible and rude! So disappointed!
This LA fitness is my favorite in the area. I have been going to this gym for the past five years and I absolutely love it. This gym has it all- cardio machines, weights, 3 squat racks, basketball court, squash/racketball courts, spin classes, Zumba dancing, swimming pool. All of this comes with a reasonable membership fee. Over the years I have been to many gyms- 24 hour fitness, Golds gym, and other LA fitness gyms in the area. This one at main st. takes the cake- no question. This gym is clean, the staff is polite, and the location has easy parking. New membership signup is quick and easy. The LA fitness app comes handy while signing up at the front desk. The gym also comes with a free (and fast) WiFi. The only thing missing from this gym is the juice bar that got shut down a couple years ago.

Individual members of their training staff as well as the company should be sued for discrimination
It's that gym where there will loads of newbies that text while on the equipment. Rest packed during the dinner hours. Probably needs a good scrub down, usually smells of B.O. Nut overall, new equipment, nice people and great amenities. Priced much better than Issaquah Fitness.

It is really need to place a spinner machine to drain water from wet swimming clothes. Also need to pay more attention on cleaning specially in changing room, inside the closets and spa area.
The cleaning is not really accepted.
Over-crowed gym that could use a good cleaning AND a lesson in customer service.
The only time to go here and not have to feel rushed when working out at the machines is when they open at 5am. The locker rooms become an elbow-jabbing fest and the showers get so full of hair and these nasty little bugs. Don't even think about coming on a weekend unless you want to drive around looking for parking for 10 minutes and still have to park across the street.
The machines them-self are fairly clean and there are stations to sanitize them. It is more-so the locker rooms, shower, and carpets that can use some deep-cleaning.
Their front-desk workers and even their personal trainers are more rude to me than friendly. I have gotten looks from them of utter disgust when I just enter and leave. I don't get it.
Also- as a pro-tip, make sure when you cancel your membership that they actually cancel it. I went in 3 months ago to cancel (which is way out of my way) after reading you must do this in person. The lady up front canceled everything and took my membership card so I had no access to the gym. Fast forward 3 months and I am still getting charged. Call them and they say 'You never received an email saying it was canceled so you still are a member and we can't give you a refund'. So I have been paying for this gym for 3 months even though I have no card to even get in AND I can't get a refund. That totally makes sense. Horrible horrible customer service.
I recommend staying away and hitting 24-hour fitness. Good luck!
This is not a typical gym and it looks like a market.. too many people and less equipments. You have to wait for hours and be in a queue to use an equipment and who has lots of time to do this in mechanical world ? They treat you as a Revenue generating object until you buy membership after that no one cares you and they don't even smile. Some of them are super rude as well. Lot of equipments are old and worn out and they never fixed even after several months. Some of the equipments make terrible noise as well. Still they make you to pay for at least 2 months even if you wanna cancel the membership..Overall negative 5 stars and stay away from this place to save time and money.
Equipments are many but not much clean. One good things it's not completely crowded most of the times . The pool is decent enough and good
Terrible sales experience. They waste half an hour of your life to force you to hear their sales pitch. I've been to Crunch, Ironworks, YMCA, all of those had great sales experiences. I just wanted to go in and check out the equipment. Have a quick walk around. Totally acceptable anywhere else. Not here. The sale guy forces you to sit at a table and fill out some form, where no doubt he wants to get your address and phone so they can sell it or mail you all sorts of ads. We start walking around, I want to take a photo of the gym with exercise equipment to compare it with other gyms so I can make an educated choice. No, you cannot, and you must delete your photos. And no, you can't look around. You've got to follow him and listen to his sales pitch the entire way, "and this our basketball court, blah blah blah". No, really, I had no idea that was a basketball court. In the end he asks you to sit so he can quote you some prices that can "change at any time". Right, so I guess I have to buy it now, right? These people are here to make money. Not to help people or benefit their customers. If they are this rude and unprofessional to people who haven't even joined yet, I can't imagine how they treat people who are already locked in, or worse, planning to leave.
A lot of the popular machines are broken and the staff didn't know (not surprised) when they would have them all fixed. The place is also very dirty and it shows as they have 'Now Hiring Janitors' signs posted all over gym for months now. Two water fountains are also broken and leak all the time. It's just sad that this gym used to be really nice and now it's ghetto and nothing works. I have a very strong feeling LA fitness Corp is aware of it but employees keep quitting and I'm not surprised.
The trainer here was rude to me when I unknowingly stepped into the personal training area while I was on phone a asked me to leave the area. Don't know what's his problem is. I had personal trainer before with la fitness before and where nice. The trainers here need to learn to speak politely to get customers. I will definitely not take a trainer here.
