I love Hatha at Get Zen!
I've tried many hot yoga studios looking for a Bikram style Hatha and this one is the best!
I attended classes at GZ for about 10 months but dropped my membership in dispute and disgust. There are several reasons for my dropping GZ but the biggest one is the lack of tranquility there. There is no Zen at GetZen. This is a very loud UN-Zen place that refuses to enforce the no talking policy before class and even their own instructors violate it. Personally I refuse to tolerate a noisy, loosely run yoga studio at $110 a month or at any price. Every other studio is better.
Following are the reasons for this rating after trying both the locations
- studios are too small when compared to the competitors
- They play loud music and not letting you relax
-Hardly 5-10 minutes gap between successive classes as they use the same space for all types of yoga.
- Not clean and not doing a good job of cleaning the sweat of previous classes
- sometimes it takes a lot to adjust the temperature as they use the same space for all classes
- too crowded
- no lockers and you might lose your valubles
- Long waiting time to use shower/restrooms
-Instructors are not that helpful except one or two nice ones
-classes are bit shorter than other studios
-as the music is super loud its hard to follow the instructions
-based on where you are practicing temperature could be extremely hot
-very expensive for whats been offered
-Some of the classes do not happen everyday except power yoga
