This community center has a very good fitness center. I wish I knew this place earlier for my work out. Clean, not crowded, good equipment, close, and cheap! No membership required and just drop in when you want to. You need to do an orientation and you can start to work out. There are all kinds of information to help jump start. I can feel that the supervisor is passionate about this job and has done a lot of thinking to make this place functional and efficient.

Bellevue Zipline challenge was very fun and entertaining. The instructors/guides were very nice and helpful. I would definitely do this again. If you are afraid of heights the instructors make you feel very comfortable. Leave your fears at home.

10 stars for Elliot and Kelly! They took great care of us and made sure we were all safe, comfortable, and having a good time. Before even getting on the course, our harnesses were checked and rechecked and we knew we were in good hands. Both of them made sure to get to know all of us by name; something that made the whole experience feel very personal. The whole time we were ziplining, both of them were very positive and encouraging, talking us through everything and giving us challenges to made it a little more scary if we asked. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun outing in the area.

I love how white the staff is, but drop in times for different sports limited. Bathroom in men's kind of a mess sometimes.

They don't like service animals, I tried to bring my service pony in to help reduce my panic attacks while working out, what with all those people watching. Anyways my sweet darlin left a big steamin mess cause they dont provide no paddocks and the manager asked us to leave. Not coming back to this place.

Clean place but senior staff seem bias against certain types of people. And it doesn't feel like a welcoming place .

I liked this place at the beginning as explained below. Before I put them on blast here, I'm going to write them an email with my disappointments, but as far as a rating goes, they went from 5 to three in my book.

The staff maintain a high level of friendly professionalism in that they do great work running programs and the facilities with careful attention to patron happiness. They go above and beyond in little ways like offering healthy recipes in the fitness room, offering new program schedules at the end of the year to help you plan your new fitness activities for the New Year. They promote our community by hiring high school and local college students, training them in professionalism and service to the patrons in the fitness center.

Also the fitness center expectation that you clean your workout space after using is practical and leaves the facilities spotless. It's always a clean environment. Their attention to service leaves me feeling like I've joined a private club. The only thing they're missing is towel service and valet, but I'm not complaining. And I also really like that this is low-key, not the kind of gym you go to and see men and women practically naked because they want to show of their sexy fitness body and grunt while they're working out to call attention to themselves. I've seen enough of that at LA Fitness. I had a membership at LA Fitness for six years. SBCC makes me feel like I wasted six years of membership at LA. Compared to LA, this place blows it out of the fitness picture for me.

I attended a birthday party at SBCC on Sunday, February 11th. I helped the family renting the center setup for the event, and the staff watched me unload the vehicle for thirty minutes. After the party began, I visited the basketball court down stairs. Melinda, a staff member, asked if I was an invited member to the party and questioned why I was near the court. She made me feel unwelcome and criminal. Later in the day, the same staff person verbally accosted the family who paid to use the facility. A child's first birthday party was soiled by a discourteous, vicious staff member who violated every principal of "community."

Very nice facility. Not visible from the road but well worth the drive if you decide to come.

Hidden gem back up in the woods. Somewhat limited but amenities include a gym, indoor basketball courts, exercise classes, tennis courts, baseball fields and a zip line!

It's difficult in general to find places to dance/practice in Bellevue. Called twice about coming in to just dance for fun since I'm trying to get back into hip hop and possibly bboying. The person that picked up on the other end was friendly but told me that this place isn't for dancers. They said open gym is family oriented only and due to programs running all the time, there's no room for dancing. They also said it's mainly focused for kids and teens. It's interesting since Tacoma and Puyallup have community centers that are geared towards everyone of all ages and allow cyphering and dancing to go on while classes are running with guidelines we should follow so we don't disrupt anything. There was no indication of when room will be freed up for anyone wanting to host a dance session or if they'll allow me to use up any of their spaces during quiet seasons.

Ugh. I tried climbing the wall, but my mom and everyone else yelled at me for slipping out of my harness. Not my fault that they gave me a 10 year old harness instead of 7! They ruined my life.

It is great for playing some basketball on the weekends!
