The trainers at this gym are so fun and engaging that you feel like you walk onto a Hollywood set when you bust down the front doors. This is an old-school gym with a super new-school approach to training. The facilities are all kept to high standards but what is most impressive is the unparalleled expertise of the trainers. Waring's Gym is a nostalgic centerpiece of Virginia Beach and a mandatory pit stop for tourists who want to know what it's like to live like a local!

I was in Virginia training for a couple weeks and I needed a gym to workout at while I was there. I'm so happy I found this gym. The trainers were super nice (even nicer than the ones at my gym back home) and it was a great atmosphere to workout in. I recommend this gym to anyone.
This gym is listed as the oldest gym in the county. Spend a few days there and you'll understand why. In my 30 yrs of fitness, and after owning two gyms myself, I can confidently say this is one of the best gyms I've ever trained at. The people treat you like family and that all trickles down from the family that started and still runs the gym today. These guys understand what fitness and running a quality gym is all about. I can't say enough good things about Wareing's gym
I have been going here for three years and love it!! All of the trainers make it a priority to know each person by name. They are all super helpful. There is always a place to spread out and do floor exercises which I have had trouble finding at other gyms. I also love utilizing the sauna and all of the awesome classes offered.
