Dr Steele is a powerful and intuitive Dr. She is direct and looks at the Whole you... Mind, Body, & Spirit. I have been to many Doctors trying to find one who understands the kind of care I am looking for and I have found that in Dr. Steele. She works on many levels from a wealth of education, knowledge, & personal experience. If you don't understand something, then all you have to do is ask. She is more than happy to explain the what, when, where, and why of your health plan. As an energy healer, I understand that your way back to health isn't in just taking a pill or changing your diet. It's also a process of releasing the mental and emotional wounds/energy which are holding you in unhealthy patterns and habits. Dr. Steele can't do that for you. She can lead you to it. Help you uncover it. But it is you who must do the work. So grateful to have found her. XO
The doctor takes forever coming in the office to meet with u, she's so unprofessional, she eats while she's supposed to be talking to you about your health, I find that very rude when you are supposed to be conducting business, I only went 3 or 4 times I am in the process of terminating my contract and they making me give them more money and she sold me man made supplements for 40$, I thought she was supposed to be a herbalist I looked up the supplements u can purchase them from anywhere but she said u can only get them from her, she lied. I hate this place I would not recommend it to anyone.
I came here back in August with high hopes that they could help me solve my medical problems. When I met with Ms. Steele, I felt relieved because I believed that this was it, I was finally going to get the help I needed. I was wrong. I was put on the most expensive treatment plan, and did my blood work and started the treatment. I followed her instructions for the first two months but saw no change. She didn't even do any tests to see if I was actually getting better or not. She just kept on telling me to go to the next step but it was not improving. I stopped seeing her when she said I. had to pay $300 for an additional treatment. What? How is that not included in the $2,100 treatment plan that you said was for me. I stopped going, and went to a real doctor who actually gave me results. Every time I would meet with her, it would be for less than 10 minutes. What? Please tell me how that is normal. Please save your money and do not go here. I wish I saw the reviews before signing a contract. I'm not against Holistic approaches, but this place does not care about you, they care about your money.
Do your homework before going to this place. Not a good experience. A lot of staff turnover and no results from the practice. There are good holistic places but I would not recommend this one. I wish I had not wasted my money and time. Dr. Steele practiced at another location before this one and when she left patient's medical information was left outside on the curb in a box. Google the information and you will find a lot of information out.
Dr. Steel is pretty awesome! She is a wealth of knowledge and has always been very resourceful and helpful with any questions about health and ways to deal with stuck emotion in the body that may be causing health symptoms. I love how over the years her unique business has evolved to health families in a deep way, to make lasting change and healthier lifestyles. I would totally recommend her and her practice for those looking for an alternative to health and wellness. Plus I love her office, it has such a cozy, welcoming feel.

If you are looking for a more holistic approach to your lifestyle, Holistic Family Practice is your place to go. Dr Erica Steele has a wealth of knowledge and loves giving your body the power to heal itself, instead of medicating the symptoms. I especially love the detox sessions!

However the level of professionalism is very low. She was always late for the appointments and my daughter felt she was being scammed. We broke the contract because the services promised were not rendered. Steele had a California collection agency come after us a few years ago. We reached an understanding with the collection agency and the case was dropped. Now, today I receive a collection letter from a company in Pennsylvania. Rule number one, never sign a year long contract with this person. Buyer beware!!!

Dr. Steele is awesome! I am a new client of hers and already have benefited from her holistic knowledge and advice, she makes me feel very welcome and not rushed me out the door like traditional doctors tend to do. I truly appreciate her and her work!
I have been searching for a holistic doctor that could help with some diagnosing possible hypothyroidism, I was thrilled to find out after many searching, for doctor Steele. I quickly called and tried setting up an appointment. This by far has been the most unprofessional experience I had for calling a doctor office. Let's just say I never got to set up an appointment after the end of a 20 minute long call!
I called to set up an appointment, explained my situation to the receptionist. I wanted to set up an appointment for the next day. Just to verify the times took her forever. As soon as I asked what times she had for 'tomorrow' she puts me on hold. I was surprised she had to put me on hold for so long just to verify the time slots. After putting me on hold, she comes back after possibly 5 minutes.She comes back saying there was an opening for that same day, I explain again my situation, that it had to be for tomorrow. She then puts me on hold AGAIN. To check the times. It all seemed so iffy and strange. I stay on hold again for possibly another 5 minutes. She then comes back and tells me. I request for 11:30. After that, she is getting my profile information to start it up. Another situation came up with giving my name and email, she just seemed bothered by the whole process.. after that she explains to me what do I prefer: a 15 free consultation or an hour long consultation. I ask if with the 15 minute or hour long consultation Will be able to get blood work done for checking my thyroid levels.
She seemed doubtful every time I asked and only really wanted me to hurry up and set up a time. I told her I was really concerned and wanted to know if they would do blood work there or outside the location. (Just so I can mentally prepare!) the way she answered just seem like she didn't know what she was doing. She then makes an excuse, puts me on hold and came back asking for my number so the doctor could call me back. I gave it to her, she seemed rather chipper after she had an excuse to hang up. She then says it may take 5-10 minutes to receive a call from the doctor.
The doctor never called and I ended up wasting 20 minutes on the phone just to try set up an appointment. They lost their chance to have a customer and on money. Would recommend a different receptionist.
Dr. Pierce has an incredible amount of knowledge. With her help I am off of all Prescriptions for Crohn's Disease through Diet and Supplements. I am just beginning my journey of getting back to healthy but I am already starting to feel a huge difference.
