Changed gyms due to the unfriendly staff especially the new trainer and her made up rules. Wish the old trainer stayed. Now I have to drive 20 minutes to Norfolk to go to a gym where the trainer is attentive, knowledgeable and has been there for years.

Friendly staff and a wide selection of gym equipment to use. A great gym to go to and the best part is that it's not too expensive for a membership. I have the black membership and it comes with great perks.

This location is not open 24/7. It's located in a strip mall, behind DQ. They have most of the same equipment I'm used to using, but no torso rotation machines. The employees are nice, for the most part. They don't seem to know how to address black card users from out of town, every time I came I was treated differently, one time I stood at the counter for 20 minutes. Ugh. This location has some very lazy employees who would rather play with their phones in the locker room then to do their jobs...ladies. This location is also very dirty. Dust is EVERYWHERE.

As I am extremely positive individual I had to write a review to advise the public about this location. I went there to signup and had a horrible experience. I Would not recommend this facility at all. The customer service is not professional and Management is worse. Please do not waste your money or positive energy to go here. I really hope they step up there professionalism. I would rate this place with no stars. -10.

I am new, I switched from a private center to here because of the hours mostly, and the cost. So far I love it. It's clean and that fan is amazing while on the cardio machines. The air is heaven sent, I hate being HOT while working out. The machines available are great, and the staff is super nice. I do wish on my first visit someone had asked if I wanted a tour, but everything else has gone so well it's okay. I'm sure if I had asked they would have given me one. So far I am very happy with my switch!

I started coming here originally hoping it might have better equipment than my apartment complex, but I was horribly disappointed. I tried to come enough making the monthly fee worth it but I couldn't, so when I come in to cancel, I'm told in still being charged the $29 annual fee even though I've ONLY BEEN 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS AND WILL NO LONGER BE ATTENDING. What an awful policy with terrible customer service. This comes at a bad time for me too, so I'm taking an unreasonable hit. Never will I step inside this franchise nor will I ever recommend this place EVER again. I'm not usually one to leave reviews but this was well deserved.

Equipment set up and atmosphere is pretty much what you will expect from a Planet Fitness. Although I would be careful about the filtered water tap, both times I've refilled my water from it I had gotten sick.

I genuinely wonder how upper management allows the type of attitude and lack of costumer service to continue at this location. After calling to enquire about unauthorized charges and being hung up on FOUR TIMES after asking for a supervisor I reached out to the corporate office. They didn't hang up on me or help resolve the situation. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

We tried to buy a lock and they are "sold out" but still charged my card anyways. Then they tell us if we "want our money back" (shouldn't that be a given and automatic since it is their mistake) we have to come in tomorrow when there is a manager available to help us. Absolutely rediculous and unheard of. Beyond disappointed tonight with this place

It's hard to beat the monthly price here compared to other gyms but you do get what you pay for. There are empty paper towel dispensers constantly so you can barely wipe off the equipment when you're done with it, the scale in the mens room almost never works and the employees do not enforce the gym rules. Also this place attracts all the douchey gym rat meat heads around with their muscle t-shirts and man buns which is ironic since that's exactly what the commercials on tv say they're trying to avoid.

Do not join if you are serious about workouts. This gym actually discourages real athletes grom joining so they dont intimidate the fat old ladies that never work out anyways. Horrible idea.

I love coming to this gym when ever I'm in town. However I work on cruise ships and am only home for a month at a time. I've become a member and canceled twice before because I go out to sea for months at a time. Is there a way to just suspend a membership so I could resume it when I'm back in town? You should still have my information on file. I'm currently on the ships now so if you could email me an answer that would be great. Thank you,

Nothing they advertise is enforced here. Standing here right now I a handful of individuals in muscle Ts and beaters covering little more than their belly buttons. The 30 min training room is never monitored and people use it as their own personal curl station. I guess you get what you pay for.

It's pretty crowded and i know people are supposed to wipe after themselves, but some dont and it would be nice if someone went behind them just so things were sanitary

I moved here 2 months ago and sometimes the wifi be out... but my one complaint is if you go in the evening there will be NO paper towels in any dispenser near you. I remember numerous times i had to walk searching for a paper towel so I can wipe my machine down. Also I don't think nobody cleans the men's locker room. I'm probably gonna switch gyms soon.
