While I was there I had few qualms with the place. Nice staff, decent facility, had it not been for what happened when I tried to cancel, I would have no negative things to say. I signed up requesting a "Maintanence" membership, meaning I pay month to month, because my finances. I read the contract and they said "no big deal, we only have one form, even though you're month to month." This did not happen and I was duped into signing a recurring fee disguised as a liability waiver (always read those very in depth!). So from the word "go" they messed up their own nonsensical convoluted procedures. When I brought it up, I was told everything was fine, and I was month to month, manual payment. I left the gym because I had friends going to another gym that was $10 less a month, and I had friends there (did I mention I'm poor?). I made a special trip to go in and cancel. After some fiddling around, I was told I was all good. Needless to say, I was not "all good." I have had a recurring payment of $60 (that is 5 hours of work for me) for a few months. Now they are refusing to refund me (in part or in full) for the amount that I over payed.
