Onelife has been my second home the last year. They have the equipment to get the job done and it is well kept. The staff are incredible. The training Elie and Thomas provide is world class and Mrs. Katie by the front door is incredibly welcoming and always inspiring me to keep chasing my fitness goals. Without the three of them I would probably exchange my membership for a subscription to Papa Johns and Netflix.
I have been a member of Onelife Fitness for years, but recently started going to Reston's facilities because a favorite class of mine has been cancelled at a Onelife closer to me. This is a nice gym. Everything looks clean, and the equipment seems well maintained. The kids club looks like a lot of fun (though my kid hasn't been there yet.)
Just note that there is no towel service. You have to bring towels from home and shlep them too and from the Reston facility (something that other Onelife Fitness gyms do provide.) It's not the biggest deal, except that I wish I was warned before I came to workout without a towel. I couldn't use the shower as a result, and went to work stinky. It's also one more thing to remember to bring.
Both my son and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here with this gym. The staff has always been super welcoming and helpful. The play area for my toddler was wonderful. He always had a great time and loved saying hello and goodbye to all the staff coming in and out. The instructors for classes are also excellent. We are sad to be moving out of state. Highly recommend this gym
Its simply a good value gym. you wont find a pool here or fancy meals they are trying to sell. At a competitive price you cant beat this place. It has plenty of weights and equipment during the peak times. They offer great packages for personalized training plans. I use to go to lifetime down the street but man was that expensive. In reality you don't need all that. I bet a good portion of this gyms clients came from lifetime :-).
Now its not perfect. I would like to see the locker rooms enhanced, maybe extend it to make it larger. Would like to see a hot tub or spa. During peak times the gym area can seem stuffy but doesn't happen a lot. So it needs more fans because some people just stink !
Really wonderful staff. Great equipment. They could do better about keeping the place cooled off. I found myself struggling on long distance runs because of overheating.

Great gym, atmosphere and staff. People using it are considerate and diverse. So glad I took advantage of membership and trainer kick start. Fun place to go and focus on self improvement!

I've been going to this gym for over a decade and it just gets better. Nice staff, quality equipment, I love my trainer Lisa, and my zumba class. It's so convenient to my Reston home and reasonably priced.

I have been a member at this gym for about two years with a short time off in the middle. I really love this gym as they have a lot of equipment and offer all kinds of classes included in the membership. The staff is really nice and friendly. I have been helped by Chris Francis all along. He is attentive and will do his best to make sure you are getting the most out of the gym. Awesome place to work out!

I have been a member of this club since 2003...some kind of record I should say. The hours are excellent and I have always found the staff to be courteous and friendly. Several days ago Chris, the general manager stopped to chat with me and ask if everything was okay. As it turned out, I had been complaining (gently) that the captions on the TV (TBS) were no longer available. I told him about the problem and two days later the captions were back and I was happily watching Seinfeld while I was on the treadmill. Thanks, Chris!

I've been working out here for about a month. I think it's the best gym in the Reston considering the cost, equipment, and hours of operation.
ANY GYM BUT THIS ONE -
I along with many others have been dealing with an issue of cancelling membership. I am a former personal trainer and understand the language of policies of contract. This gym manipulates the consumer to lock in as much money without respecting their overall values as a company. I sent a notice to cancel because I moved. I thought they would consider the fact that I haven't been active at the gym yet paid every month as part of the cancellation fee. However, I was told the membership was finally cancelled and I would not be charged. I then soon find out that they continue to push the payments through. I know I'm not the first and I know I will not be the last.
Money hungry dishonest operators. I had signed up for personal training sessions. I wasn't taking them because I wasn't feeling well. When the sessions were approaching expiry dates the personal trainer made fake appointments to get himself paid without me attending the sessions. If they had an iota of decency they would have rather extended the expiry date.
I mentioned this to the so called general manager Chris on the phone. He never got back to me.
I have been a member of this gym for 14 years and it has never lost its hometown feel. It is a close knit community of people who care about their fitness and health. I am partial to the group ex classes as I was able to lose 50lbs. The gym is well appointed with good equipment and the people are phenomenal!
I've been teaching Pilates and barre at this gym for a year and a half. Comparing it to other gyms at the same price point, I say it's a fantastic value! This gym is clean, the staff is friendly and the members are amazing! Plus, my kids love the childcare facility!
I was excited from the moment I walked in through the doors. The front desk was very polite and their membership staff made it very easy to understand all of the amenities and values within the gym. The personal training staff really helped me get started on the right path with my fitness goals and the environment is perfect for anyone looking to not only workout buy develop an amazing healthy lifestyle. They have created the best fitness experience for myself and I see myself working out here for years.
This club is the best bang for your buck in the area by far. I've yet to meet a staff member who doesn't greet you with a smile and is willing to help out with any issue that arises. The energy is electric during peak hours and doesn't get insanely crowded like other gyms. Would recommend.
