Amazing gym. A lot of stuff packed into a small area and two good sized yoga/dance/whatever you want to do in there studios. Always clean. Loren has been an amazing trainer so far. She really knows her stuff. Cannot recommend enough. You definitely get your money's worth.

I always go late at night after work and there is never more than 2 other people there and so I'm able to use whatever I want however often I'd like and I love it!

Friendly staff. Machines are in good condition and I'm always able to find weights even during rush hour gym sessions. I love the two private rooms with mirrors that allow me to set up my own area.

Seriously some of the nicest people I've ever met. The staff just wants to see you succeed and help any way you can. They'll answer any and all questjons you have, even if they are busy. Eric gives me great workouts, and Kasia is so nice. And when Evan found out I was allergic to one of the air fresheners they had, he made sure to change it. If that's not welcoming, I'm not sure what is.

This gym has everything you need for a solid full body workout and plenty of equipment to keep mixing things up. The best part about this gym is the atmosphere. You see the same people every day. Nobody messes with you. Everyone is polite when it comes to jumping in and sharing equipment and cleaning after usage. You come here to put in the work and reach your goals, it's not the YMCA where you socialize for an hour and explore the facility. You come here to lift weights and get that adrenaline pump you need every day.

Just signed up because of how great this place is. I work weird hours being in the military so knowing I can go to the gym at anytime of the day is great.

Nice gym. Small but big enough to have everything you would need. The only thing I wish they had was a track since I like to do a lap between lifts. No big deal. Machines are very well maintained, although some seem a little old, they work better than the newer ones at my university gym.
I also got the tanning package for my pasty skin. There's only 1 bed and it cost an additional $10 a month. There's a computer that limits the use for once per day so you can't go over the legal tanning limit (who would anyway?)
Membership is a little pricey at $40 - $50 a month, and comes with additional sign up fees as high as 50-60$ one time sign up fee.
ALSO they sneak in an extra $10 charge every 6 months which they say is for maintaining the gym equipment (isn't that what our expensive monthly payments are for?).
Overall I like this gym, just a bit pricey for what you're getting but reasonable enough to where I still bit the bullet on the price

We stopped in for a workout at this specific anytime fitness. At around 10:00pm there were about 8 other people in the gym. It was a good atmosphere with plenty of workout equipment.

I love this gym! The close proximity to my house, reasonable pricing offers, and friendly staff, this gym just needs a sauna and it'll be perfect! But I absolutely love having my own access at ANYTIME... even 3am.

I really enjoyed the facility and 100% agree that the owner has made the best of the small space available at this location. However, I am very disappointed with the closing staff at Anytime Fitness and therefore my review reflects that.
I came to Anytime Fitness because I have throughly enjoyed many of their facilities throughout Virginia. My work schedule, since moving to the Norfolk area, has been quite erratic and thus I seek a gym that has late hours/24 hour access. The first day I came to the gym, I was greeted by Liz and she was very welcoming and gave me a tour. We finished the conversation with a 7 day guest pass to explore the gym. That same evening (day 1) I continued to work out to start my free week trial.
It is now day 4 and for the last 3 days I have tried to continue my trial only to be locked out of the gym. Again, my work schedule is hectic and so for the last 3 days I have showed up to the door at 6:51, 6:54 and 6:55pm to which I am greeted by a locked door and no employee in the building. I even waited to see if an employee left and no one ever did (implying that they left before I arrived). On day 4, I knocked on the door and an employee even said "no with a hand gesture" to signal that I cannot come in (6:55pm).
Knowing that I would show up close to 7 each day, I called the gym 15-20 min in advance to attempt to let the employee(s) know that I would be arriving close to 7. Not once was my call answered (I'm not even exaggerating). Working out is an important part of my lifestyle and I was ready to sign a 24 month contract with this gym but now I am so discouraged that I don't even want to continue my 7 day trial.
I don't want to speak pourly about the establishment considering it is an excellent gym, however my experience was far from acceptable and thus I amseeking other gyms for memberships.

Best Anytime Fitness I've been to. I was considering cancelling my membership due to poor experiences at other locations. This location changed my mind. Has everything you need. Never to busy.
