Best YMCA ever. All of the workers are nice. They are very hospitable. The gym ( basketball and workout ) stay clean . The bathrooms are clean. This is a place that cares. This YMCA is definitely a good investment for your health

Service is amazing and trustworthy and it is a place for my kids to interact with other kids in Izone and Child Watch. They are seriously an amazing Y with a diverse collective.

It is easy to find and has easy access from the street. The lady at the front desk was kind and patient; excellent customer service! There is a lot of room in the facility. The facility is clean and well maintained.

I don't even belong to this YMCA but if I was looking for one this one isn't it..

I went in with my son(whom is 8 months and having a blowout at the time) looking for a bathroom and the front desk man told me that it was only for YMCA members and that they aren't with the park system, then prcceeds to walk to the door and show me where the bathrooms ( I guess he thought he was doing me a favor). I get to the bathrooms and they are closed, then I have to go to ANOTHER spot for a bathroom! With a blow out baby..

Why couldn't you just let me use the bathroom and when I came out to thank you then talk to me about a membership? No you tell me a place (WHERE YOU TOLD ME YOU HAVE NO CLUE BUT STILL POINT ME IN AN DIRECTION) and that's its.

The YMCA started for communities. I can see that this one only has just MONEY as the priority.

Love this place. The people are so friendly and the environment is defiantly family friendly. I have had some bad experiences in gyms but I always feel my membership is money well spent.

Love coming to this YMCA, have a lot of fun working out and playing Racquet Ball. All the staff are so very, very nice and there to help in any way. I will come to this YMCA for a long time!

So let me start by saying that first impressions are literally everything.
I don't belong to this Y but my son wanted to play basketball and this was the only YMCA that offered it at the time. Initially I signed my son up for this program with a young girl at the front desk who was rude and very unprofessional she "yoed" me several times & was confused as to how to register my son.
She handed me a receipt that said practices are mon wed fri and that the director Mitch would call me with the start times. Now keep in mind I signed up for this on Thursday, no response that evening, no response Friday, nothing on sat nor Sun. I called each of these days as well and didn't get an answer until evening. Sunday evening I was told that practices would be at 5:15 pm on mon.
I arrived at 500 pm on Monday, now remember how I told you first impressions were everything?? The young girls at the front desk didn't bother to greet me as I walked in, they were on cell phones and stuffing their mouthes with food. Since no one spoke I spoke to them and asked where basketball practice would be at. Mind you I had my 6 year old son with me dressed in his practice attire, one girl pointed to the gym. So I kindly walked around and asked an older white lady if she knew where I should go and I was told the gym. So I headed there opened the door and was shocked to see a gym full of grown men playing basketball. Of course at this point I was beyond pissed like y'all could clearly see that I was here to bring my 6 year here to play ball???
I stormed back to the front desk and asked if anyone knew what time youth basketball would start and I was told 545pm now. Imagine my frustration at this point. I called and got ahold of someone named Barbara she claimed to be a supervisor I expressed my frustration and concern with her and although she was very apologetic it's didn't take away frustration with this place and her rude staff. She then happily told me that practice was not until tomorrow (Tuesday) at 630pm!!!!!!!
All I can say is that it starts with management if the managers are confused and chaotic then the staff will follow also.
If it wasn't for my son wanting this I would not go here ever again.
Take my advice and stay far far away from this place unless you want to be disrespected and ignored!!!

Great place but small so it is crowded on busy days. Easy to locate things and helpful staff

This is my favorite peninsula Y, but the roach problem here is getting worse. They have German roaches badly in the sauna and pool area. Unfortunately these little nasties are hard to get rid of and will climb into your stuff and go home with you. I'm sitting in the pool area right now and had to pick my baby's infant seat up off the floor after I saw three crawling next to it. NN YMCA, please get rid of these roaches. We are finishing out the swim class we signed our toddler up for but will not be coming back after that because of this.
