Friendly staff and a laid back atmosphere. I havent taken part in the classes, tanning or child care but I notice plenty of regulars who seem content with these services. Gym has plenty of equipment, some old but still functional, with new additions replacing them if they become too broken. My only gripe would be some patrons not using proper etiquette or replacing weights/equipment, which is by no means a fault of the facility or staff.

Best gym I very went to 24hrs access.
Now that I have moved away I do miss this gym great staff owners are good people..

The name of this gym should be "Harrisonburg 24/7 Adult Fitness". The tanning rooms feature provocative images that you would find in a Playboy magazine. I had asked for these posters to be moved to a position that would only be visible when inside the tanning room (a different wall, behind the door, there are lots of options to choose from). The GM, Brandon, unfortunately didn't care and the images seem to be important to the facility where they need to be seen by everyone. Very disturbing to find those vulgar photos in a fitness center who claim to be "family" fitness. Even more so, when the concern is brought up and is seen as a non-issue. Easy decision to cancel!

We love this gym. It really has something for everyone. Ladies only room, cinema cardio room, tanning, hot tub and sauna in locker rooms. Smoothie bar and child care and tons of classes. Customer service is always great!!

Nice family friendly gym. Locker room for the women is rather small but nicely done and gets the job done. Three equipment is also on the older side but functional. They also have child watch while you workout. Parents get a pager and are notified when they are needed or the two hr time window is up.

I went here during Christmas time and was one of the better gyms I have ever been to. They have everything and a super friendly staff. I will be back.

This gym is the absolute best! For those who work in healthcare the 24/7 hours are great. The two locations make it easy to fit it in a workout. Group classes are suited to fit everyone!

This is a great gym it has something for everyone, the coaches become people you can talk to on a daily basis. They work hard keeping you motivated and on track with your goals. This staff is so nice and very helpful. If you are looking for a place to get fit/healthy this is where you need to be.

I've been a member for one year now and honestly have only great things to say. Fantastic staff, great facility, and a wide variety of classes and activities! FitZone has been an important part of my day since the beginning and I look forward to a great workout every time I go.

The facility is immaculate and the staff is very friendly. I have been a member for one year and I look forward to going 4-6 times per week. I highly recommend FitZone! It's a fun, challenging workout with a great coach! Try it and see!

I was a contracted member of this gym from 2015 to early 2017 and I wish I had never joined.
First of all, I'm a mother of a young daughter. When I joined this gym, my daughter was only a few months old. I attempted to bring her to the childcare several times with Melissa. Every time I came back from my workout, my child was red faced with swollen eyes and had been crying the entire time! I was a staff member at another local gym's daycare for the last year and we had a 15 minute rule for crying children before we went and got their parents. No one ever came and got me here.
At this point, I was sick of seeing my baby miserable and I called the manager to see what I could do about my contract. Clearly I would not be able to come to the gym if I was unable to feel like my child was well taken care of in the daycare. Brandon asked me if I had any family nearby who would watch her, which I didn't. My husband is active duty in the military and we are 600 miles from our closest family member. I told Brandon that my daughter was breastfeeding and wasn't able to go very long without wanting to nurse and he suggested that I try to "wean her a little bit" to come to the gym! Yes, suggested that I wean my child who was only a few months old.
So apparently there was no fee or charge that I could take on to get myself out of this $30/month membership that I knew I'd never be able to use. I finished out my unused contract in March and wasted more than $500 at a gym I was unable to use.
I also came to get my haircut once at the salon attached to the gym, leaving my baby in the childcare again. As soon as I sat down in the chair, the stylist told me she didn't know how to do the highlights I asked for and asked me to reschedule with someone else. I went to go get my daughter from the daycare after FIVE MINUTES and a failed attempt to get my hair colored and they charged me for the literally 5 minutes I sat down and was told that I wouldn't be able to get my hair done today.
Everything about this gym is unprofessional. Go to Valley Fitness.

I have been coming here since 2014 and love the atmosphere and the staff is amazing, I get my hair done at the same location I have only went to HALLIE MORGAN for the past year and a half and I won't let anyone else touch it, when you find someone who takes their time and truly cares you stick to them :) I drive out of my way to come here and have brought so many friends and family who enjoyed it as much and joined. They now are incorporating a fitbox (similar to cross fit) so if your into lifting like me you will love this place. They have so many areas to fit ANYONES NEEDS. CHECK IT OUT!

Great price, but overcrowded. Good luck getting one of the 2 squat racks during peak hours. Gym employees do not enforce etiquette at all. People routinly use equipment like the squat racks for exercises that done need a rack like deadlift.
