Visited this studio from out of town and had a great class. The owner was super friendly and very knowledgeable.
The studio itself is gorgeous with showers and changing areas.
The hot room was hot enough for a good workout but not insanely intense.
Overall a great experience! Highly recommend for those looking to jump into Bikram or out-of-towners.
I started coming here twice a week six weeks ago. I was skeptical at first but after just one session I was hooked. I am a 36 year old Male with mild scoliosis, significant chest trauma and surgical restructuring 21 years ago and what I would consider a below average range of motion/flexibility. The positive results from this have been amazing! Sleeping better, feeling more relaxed, less pain and more freedom of movement in all of my joints and muscles, Confidence, posture, diet, less alcohol consumption, they all kind of tie together in this weird way. All staff members are amazing and the facility itself is extremely clean from studio to showers. What are you waiting for to give it a shot and change your life? Doctors should prescribe bikram instead of pain medication.
Not what I wanted at all. I never realized how different the style of bikram is from vinyasa. All of the lights on, no music, rules for drinking water or whiping sweat off your face. . If you normally do vinyasa, dimly lit, soothing practice, don't try this lol. I only gave 2 stars (instead of one) because my friend actually was sore after class...I didn't feel anything from it. Sorry to leave a bad review, but not enjoyable!
I really enjoy this place. All are welcome, many shapes and sizes. People are friendly and the instructors are very good. Great experience.
Bikram yoga rocks 10x better than VINYASA! I try just about every hot yoga studios in hampton roads area. Bikram is the BEST i c quick results after class my body is sore for hours. Which is a good thing, however when i do VINYASA ITS A BIT SLOWER N U CONSTANTLY RESTING IN DOWNDOG ASANA. try bikram u will notice the difference no comparison. Hands down BIKRAM HOT YOGA RULES!
This yoga studio is amazing. I recently attended a clinic and Becka is so passionate about bikram yoga and so helpful and encouraging. It's the best. Give it a try; you'll be glad you did.
