This is a great gym for grade school gymnastics. "Though she be but little she is fierce." There are some very talented gymnasts here, and the teachers will back flip with the best of them. Don't count them out for upper level skills. The kids need the confidence in themselves to try them first, and this environment is centered around the child.

My daughter absolutely loves The Little Gym. She has learned so much in the last few months. All of the teachers are attentive and coach the children based on individual skill level. My daughter is 7 and got started a little later than some other children, but was recently moved to a new class based on the instructors evaluation of her skills. Thank you to everyone at TLG Chesapeake for helping my daughters strength and confidence grow :)

The staff is outstanding and incredibly patient. The curriculum goes beyond the gym style activities to include age-appropriate school style learning of colors, numbers, etc. My son has grown tremendously because of his time at The Little Gym.

My child is not in daycare so the Little Gym has provided him with the social aspect he truly needed. Being more social is the major reason I enrolled him, but since then I've watched as he's opened up, has more confidence and is learning so many things. I highly recommend this place!

My little guy really enjoys coming to TLG! He really has a great time. The staff is fun, supportive and encouraging! He is the only child so he gets to interact in a clean, safe and fun environment with kids his age!

We love TLG of Chesapeake! Besides it being my 17 month old daughter's most favorite place ever, she's learned many different gymnastic skills, sign language, and even practical skills like cleaning up toys when you're done. The equipment is always cleaned/sanitized after every class and the teachers are so patient and careful as the little ones learn new skills. We really value our time there! It's worth every penny!

Little Gym has been a part of our family since our daughter was 2 1/2. She looks forward to her time each week, so much so that we are participating in 2 classes this year. Thank the good Lord for this noncompetitive physical activity and all of our successes over the years. We are really worried about the end of next year. We unfortunately age out of Little Gym at the end of the season next year.

We have been at TLG with my daughter (almost 3) since she was 9 months old. I love how to programs are designed to be FUN yet focus on skills that will help her well beyond the gym. The instructors are truly invested in the kids and we feel like TLG staff are our second family! We are expecting another baby any day now and will sign him up in the Fall!

My daughter Winter has been going to the little gym for a little over a month now and absolutely loves it! We learn muscle buildning and using skills for her, as well as how to share and interact with other children. I would definitely recommend and have to many friends!

Beware!!! I would never leave my child here unattended but I see the need for some parents. As I watched my daughter play in the gym area another Lil girl maybe all of 3 and a half walked out of the play area and sat down in the viewing area. Not until it was brought to the attention of the staff did they have a clue that she had walked out of the room as if it was no big deal. There is no security on the interior doors or exterior doors. Anyone can come and go as they please. Never again will I come to this place nor recommend it to anyone at all.

Been going to the little gym for over 3 years and it's always so much fun!!! The teachers are great at interacting with the kids and making things fun for everyone. We've had birthday parties there, enjoyed Halloween parties, Lego classes and even dance! My children have learned many skills, physical, developmental and social. If you're thinking of enrollment, it's definitely worth it!!!

My 4 year old looks forward to her Little Gym class every week! with everything from Dance to Karate to Gymnastics for all ages, there are plenty of classes for us to choose from for her ever changing interests. The instructors are always super helpful and very patient with the children in their classes and understand different age levels, obviously have different attention spans. We love The Little Gym and are so happy to have found them!

My five year old loves it at the Little Gym . She would spend hours a day there and it would never get old ! Love the staff ,Love the procedures, Love the activities. The place is so positive! What a great self esteem booster and it wears my kids out . Such good exercise !
