This one it's on high street is small but the people are awesome the the building is so clean.
Very nice layout! Alot wonderful activities for all ages!
Portsmouth Y is good...friendly staff, good workout equipment, hours of operation are great!
I came in on a guest pass to play basketball with my friends and was told the only way I could play was to purchase a membership or just shoot around. I wanted to get a feel for the gym before I purchased a membership for my family. Hopefully this rule will change soon for future guest looking to become members.
That's My Y to get a good sweat...plus the ladies are friendly and sociable...
My son loves this place. Swimming here is awesome for him.

Clean, friendly, & quiet. Great place for the entire family.
Me fascina tiene de todo muchas máquinas bien sofisticadas piscinas, mucha variedad de cosas de hacer .Estoy fascinada con mi gym YMCA.
I like this Y. Everyone is very nice and if you go for awhile everyone knows you and says hi. They have a great track and a large therapy pool that is really nice because it's heated higher. They have classes though I have yet to try one but people always seem to enjoy themselves. I can come here and people are nice but then you can also get your workout done without being bothered. And if you do need something the attendants and trainers are very helpful. This Y also has excellent children's programs for preschool, before and after school care as well as summer camp.

The In motion Physical Therapy location there is wonderful. The staff is very educated and polite. All of the therapist help each other out. Nice receptionist
Great Gym. Everyone is so nice
I joined the Y about 3 or 4 months ago. My membership was 55.00 whopping dollars a month and i was ripped off. Upon my first visit the guy at the desk assumed that I was pregnant and asked for an emergency contact in case I went into labor which was very offensive. The Machinery is very old and out of date. The staff is not very friendly. And the first time I went in the pool I got sick. The next three or four times I went to work out the pool was always unavailable. I tried to cancel my membership gave them my notice and they continued to take the money out of my account. This is the worst gym I've ever been to in my life and I will never do business with them again. I went to one Life Fitness they are amazing very friendly.
I love that it's small. The staff is friendly, and it's clean, plus the baby to helper ratio is small in the nursery. Two pools, hot tubs and saunas in the locker rooms.
there is so much to do. it was great to see all people welcomed, young and old, culturally diverse.
I am hoping to be able to change my review in a few weeks but had to share my experience with others. It took this facility three weeks to change my membership from Blocker YMCA (which I loved), to their facility...even though two years ago, it only took Blocker one day to get me set up with a new membership. I was sent home TWICE by this facility's front desk staff because they "couldn't help me"..This last time I even left, and then called from the car to speak to someone else and Erin got on the phone and straightened the issue out. The front desk associates didn't even ask her to come assist when I came in to sort the issue out and were content to send me home with no answers. I am still giving this facility a chance, because I believe in the Y and I love working out in a family friendly environment, but I hope they retrain and educate their staff on how to deal with member issues that arise. They should look to Blocker as a model on how to deal with internal questions and issues.
I witnessed gay people who spend the whole time going from the locker room to the sauna with their junk hanging out flirting with everyone they meet. Most of these people are local prominent politicians, lawyers and doctors. That's a little uncomfortable. I feel like I wouldn't want my son in there alone with them.
Great work out, first class pool, ln door/outdoor, sauna, steam room, many classes.
