The training is incredible and the instructors are incredibly skilled! Every time I go, I learn something new. The people are great- definitely a big family, inclusive of everyone!

Great place to get in shape and learn how to defend yourself on the street, both at the same time. Great instructors and great place to train in a friendly environment.

It's not just about technique it's about "why" you'd respond and how. These are real world defenses for all. What they teach builds off natural instincts and are easy to learn and very effective. The best in Utah!

If you want to change your life, come to this class. Joseph and Jen are absolutely amazing people. You can see that in just one class. They accept everyone and your confidence and personal defense will dramatically improve. All the students are example of the leaders training. There is no pay for an hour and get 15 minutes of actually learning like most places. 1 full hour of actually working out and learning with other leaders like Mathew and others are so willing to walk around a personally show you You will get your money's worth and more. It's affordable and you can meet great people and learn to defend yourself. Keep in mind not to confuse kindness with weakness, they are nice people but they can humble you really fast. I encourage all of you to stop and give it a go. It's a very impressive group of people. You won't be disappointed

I feel ten times more confident in my ability to protect myself than I was two and a half years ago. Kristina. They moved recently and ran into some things getting the gym up and running but they have pretty much settled in and it is looking awesome. The instructors there have been nothing but helpful to me in teaching me. Nobody can do everything perfect all the time and everybody makes mistakes but I can assure you all that Joseph and Jen are great people and great instructors. Take it from me. Somebody that has been training there for a couple years. Not somebody that has been there once or twice. I'm not gonna go on and on about every little thing she has said but I will tell you that if you check this place out for yourself you will find it to be much different than the way she is making it sound.

First experience was amazing. From my many hours of research to find the highest accredited school in salt lake it definateley payed off. Joseph and Jen Gleed are awesome instructors and even better people who are in this to truly see their students progress and succeed. I could see immediately that they were on top of their students and their techniques to make sure that they are being properly executed. Much respect to you Joseph and Jen and many thanks. I am proud to be a part of their organization.

Not impressed. To start, there is not great communication between Jenn and whoever is running the classes. I confirmed twice with two different people that I would be attending an intro course. I showed up early and another class was in process. No one bothered to come up and help me even though Jenn was clearly there training, and knew I was coming. No one at the desk. I'm just standing up front in my gym attire and water bottle. There was tiles all a mess on the inside ceiling with exposed HVAC. All this white powder and bits were all over the mat. Clearly it came from the ceiling and no one bothered to clean it up before training underneath it.

Also, someone thought this gym was a place for their 2 pre-k kids while they are in class, running around and such. The mother constantly yelling to them on where to go. She finally tells them to either go in the bathroom or stay up front. So these kids go and take over the bathroom for the next 30+ minutes. Which happens to be the same place where people, about to train for class, would like to go "quickly" before they begin their class. I waited for at least 10 of those minutes for the restroom. Only to come out a minute later and class already has begun.

The restroom was a public health concern. Toilet was backed up, no soap and toilet paper. The trash was overflowing onto the ground, with what I can only see as used toiletries, eye level with these kids. It couldn't have been serviced in the last 2-3 days. Not cool! This is supposed to be a gym for crossfit, Krav Maga and others. A clean, serviced restroom is a must!

I instead sat down and watched, while not once did anyone, including Jenn, bother to help me. I am glad I did. Their warm up was poor, with no stretching. The class had no one really watching for people's form or that they were even doing it right. At one point a couple asked Jenn about the knifes and how to do this move they were just shown. Her response was " oh, I can't help you. I haven't taken weapons training". You're supposedly a black belt! You could/should at least be able to guide them with the basic 101 moves they were doing. The guy teaching was not Joseph. He wasn't invested in the students success. He didn't even know the name of that "guy, Joseph learned from". It's Levine from KM Worldwide. Just the fact you don't know that, is ridiculous that you are pretending to teach Krav Maga as any sort of reputable figure.

Go to Katrina Reynolds with SLC Krav Maga if you want serious and devoted training to Krav Maga. This place isn't meeting some pretty basic expectations.
