I love Onyx so much! The instructors are unbelievably talented and knowledgeable. They create a safe and encouraging environment in their classes and make sure everyone feels welcome/comfortable. The classes are both challenging yet fun! Everyone at the studio is friendly and supportive. I have made so many friends here and have been improving my physicality and mobility so much by coming to the studio.
Welcoming to everyone of all skills or sizes. Wonderful energy in this place. Both the teachers and the students are so supportive of each other. Absolutely love the many ways I can move my body here and get a great workout while having so much fun and building relationships. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new place to hang out, burn energy, and try something new.
Did a private class for a bachelorette party and absolutely loved it! Ariel was our instructor and I would hands down do any class with here again. Ask for her and you won't regret it! She was patient, encouraging, and most of all fun!
First timer! The instructor was great, she was very energetic which made the experience fun. Shes had years of experience, and you can tell shes very passionate about what she does. I loved that. Her attitude was outgoing, bubbly, nice, and helpful. Great whole body workout. And time flies by so fast, during your class, hardly felt like I was getting in tip-top-shape.

Went to their recent recital. Poor air circulation for how many people were present. Only 1 bathroom with 1 stall. But friendly staff & great class options. Equipment looks to be in good condition & staff is knowledgeable in handling different apparatuses.

I paid to reserve my spot in the class, only to drive all the way up here and find out the class is cancelled. No one bothered to notify me of the cancellation.
There is also no sign so finding this place was hugely frustrating! It's suite #114 and right next to Bleyl Carpets and Blinds. But don't bother because your class is probably cancelled anyway.

Awesome gym and talented instructors. Parties here are a blast and affordable!
Took hoop 1.0, I had a lot of fun trying it out and playing on the hoop for the first time, however the instructor (Karrie) didn't do much instructing. She would show an example of a move for levels 1,2, and 3, without taking time to explain anything for the people who had never been there. Once on the hoop, I got no instruction on how to fix anything I needed to change about my form or really any advice at all . I felt like she didn't care about teaching as much as just doing the art herself, and kind of assumed we all knew what to do (defeats the purpose of a teacher, right?). Thanks for the experience! However I will be going elsewhere for further lessons.
Not enough silks for how many students they allow in the classes. There's about 6 silks for 20 students - not efficient. It kind of makes things impersonal when you are on the silks, then trade off with someone else after a few minutes. I also didn't like that there were many other classes going on all at once - hoops, pole, silks, etc. That might feel fine to others, not so much for me.
I loved Onxy! Our instructor, Wren was so fun and helpful. I loved the environment and everyone was super supportive and encouraging!

I was a little nervous ti try out something way out of my comfort zone. But the teachers and every one there is amazing!! I felt super comfortable and fell in love with pole.
Went to my very first pole class, and LOVED it. Shae was very helpful and didn't make me feel awkward or judged. I will definitely be back at least weekly!

I have been going since March 2017. I have nothing but great things to say about onyx. The owner shae so knowledgeable and fun, she has hired amazing instructors they have created a great culture.
I've never taken any sort of aerial class before coming here. So far I've been to 3 classes (hoop, pole, and silks) and the instructors and the other girls have been really cool! Everyone is super nice. It's just a really noncompetitive environment where you can do your own thing and not worry about comparing yourself to others.
The most amazing place ever. Learn a new skill and learn to love your body. The teachers are great and they can help anyone at any skill level.
