Clean! App the machines are in good working order. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Basic gym with all the equipment you could want or need, with out all the extra meat heads.

So far the friendliest Planet Fitness I've been to. This one isn't my home gym. I'm visiting for a few weeks. They have me a tour of the gym & they also took the time to show (instead of just tell me or just point to the poster on the wall) how to use the Total Body enhancement!

I have been coming here for a couple months. I love the fact that you can take classes or one on one included with the membership. Trainer Kaitlynn is always pushing people to be the best versions of themselves. Personalized workout plans to keep things going. Highly recommend Planet Fitness to everyone.

you never find coaches and you will always have to pay the annual fee, no matter if you cancel before the payment date, that must be the reason why you are always alone.

This planet fitness is in franchise with the South Jordan location and is at least less busy and more accomadating than South Jordan. The man running the front desk around 6 30pm on Saturday was kind enough but more focused on other things rather than offering a tour even after stating it was our first time there he only pointed towards the locker rooms. The atmosphere was very clean and non smelly. It felt light in the air and friendly. There was a second employee a female running around cleaning with glasses on. We didn't have to wait for any equipment which is wonderful. The locker rooms were fair as well and they were very clean. Wasnt a fan of noticing a dad shuttling his two boys around the gym one well under the age of 13yrs old. The other planet fitness gyms dont allow kids under 13 and so this was surprising. The dad even made the kid strip down and shower in the locker room even though he was uncomfortable. The equipment was great and i didn't notice a single thing out of order
Some of the equipment areas are spread out though at this location making it the most confusing of all the planet fitness locations I have been to yet. They had a stretching area through the black card spa which made no sense. I used a massage chair which felt great. The showers also had great pressure and temperature. The front desk area was very tidy as well. Loved the black couch up front. Battle ropes here had a strange cover on them and so when hitting the floor it felt strange to me.
This is my personal opinion and not the company's position.

The gym is very clean and the staff is always freindly, there seems to be enough space for everyone there even on the busiest nights.

I decided to go get some pumping action going on at this gym after hearing that the ladies at this location are particularly wholesome and have all their teeth.
I give a one star rating because not all of them in fact have all of their teeth.
While I did in fact see one amazing butt on the treadmill, my view was obscured by an older lady in spandex doing some bent over rows, stretching the spandex over her butt with every rep so I could see her panties through the overstretched cotton. It was a disgrace. I watched every rep very closely. Such bad form. And by the time I was done intensely watching, the nice butt on the treadmill had left for some water.
The ladies really do need to get their timing right for my viewing pleasure. So only one star for the ladies of PlaTay. And that's a high rating for a place that allows attractive older ladies to do rows and show off their blue and white striped perfect cotton form fitting panties. Shame on you.

Nice clean gym. The tanning beds and hydro massage beds are kept clean and you dont feel rushed like you do at Vasa when using these services. The workers always greet you and say bye to you when you leave. Great place to workout at!!

I love this gym. Always clean and all the machines work all the time. I don't feel like I am fighting for space in there or hoping a machine might be open. Machines are always available.

This is one of my favorite PF locations. The gym is always clean, and the staff members are constantly going around and spot cleaning here and there. This location offers a variety of equipment, including cardio machines, free weights, smith machines and a planet fitness 360 machine that has TRX, battle ropes, box jumps, kettlebells and more. My favorite part of being a member at PF is the group fitness classes because they are motivational, instructive and help me to make sure I exercise with the proper form. Finally, the staff at this location have always been courteous and helpful whenever I've had any questions/concerns. I would definitely recommend this location.

If you are looking for new stairsteppers and very good arc trainers this planet fitness I like better than some vasa fitness. The last time I was at vasa fitness in Murray Van winkle huge building but old arc trainers except for one. Every stairstepper at this planet fitness is new and you can charge your phone on most of their cardiovascular machines. I hope assistant manager or manager is district manager in the future. 10.00 monthly is an excellent value for newer cardiovascular equipment . Please join this planet fitness today. Also assistant manager is extremely knowledgeable about equipment and repairs it . Keeps gym working for customers. Also excellent televisions. Abc Nbc CBS CNN on many television's .

Looks nice but they wont let you have a free pass to check it out, or at least a 5 dollars fee per day, the day pass is 20 dollars, way too much.

This is a very basic gym that doesnt offer much outside of machines and dumbell free weights. If you are new to the gym atmosphere and working oit it is a great place for that but if you want a more functional type of wotkout then go somewhere else because the equipment is limited for that. Also they dont disclose the cancelation fee and the attendant basically says its your fault it wasnt disclosed to you. Make sure you read the fine print before signing.

Great location. Zeke is a total stud and makes going there even better.
Great equipment, always maintained well and super clean.

Clean, but the guy who works over nights will disappear for 45 min to an hour. I have frequently had to search for him for at least 15 min before giving up and leaving. I've also seen him completely ignore customers at the desk and keep doing whatever he's doing. I once found him in the women's locker room in the back room waiting for the laundry to finish. I had to knock 3 times before he even answered me. When he did answer he sounded exhausted over the fact that I wanted to use the hydromassage chair.

I've been a member of other Gyms, and hands down Planet Fitness staff are top notch! Very respectful and attentive to the members.

This has been my gym for quite a long time now. The only reason i've docked it a star is because their free weights only go up to 75 lbs. I know Planet is supposed to be a lunk free zone but you don't have to be huge to go above 75lbs on a bench.
Aside from that the staff keeps the equipment, bathroom, and floor very clean. The added wifi too so i don't have to use my phone data when i work out. They've added more space and machines over time too which has helped as they've grown. The people who workout here keep to themselves and are friendly to each other.

This is a great gym with some good policies. They have a clean workout area with a variety of stuff to do and nice staff. The only thing is it does get hot, but other then that it's pretty great

This is my favorite Planet Fitness location in the state. It has extra sets of free weights compared to the other clubs, is 24/7, always clean, rarely crowded and has top notch tanning equipment. This locations owned separately from the others and the managements effort in setting this location apart from the others shows.

It is posted all over the inside of the gym that it is a "judgement free zone", and it really is. I feel comfortable working out here. People are so friendly and I have never felt like I was being judged. I would definitely recommend this place to someone like me that is hesitant to work out in public with strangers.

Not a horrible gym. But I can't get over how hot they keep it. I spoke to the staff and was informed that they keep it at 69 degrees with the goal of feeling like it's 85 when you're working out. That's perfect for a retirement home, but not a gym. When I asked if they could at least turn up the giant fan they said they keep it at 8.8. I don't know what that is supposed to mean, but I guess it's just for decoration. I wouldn't mind as much if there was just some air flow. From what the reviews have taught me; I will be carefully reading my contract, canceling, and going to Vasa.

Friendly ,helpful staff, Ryan is an excellent gymn manager. Clean and new equipment. It is good for starters as most of the machines and equipment is fixed but for more hardcore people the lack of free weights, bars, decline benches may be off putting. Overall a good place for workout.

Really awesome place. I don't hear every morning to workout and it really seems to help pretty good. Only thing is there are no free bars. They have dumbbells ranging from 10 lb to 75 lb so that's good. They also have bars where you can bench press and squat and things like that. Only they are on Smith machines. So it is a great starter gym and a great gym for anyone who likes working out by themselves because the Smith machines really help with the safety of the gym. They also have treadmills, elliptical walkers, and stair climbers. So they tend to have a good variety. And the monthly pricing is only about $10 a month for a normal membership, if you get there special black card membership it is $21.95 a month I believe. This gives you unlimited guest privileges. And access to their massage chairs and other cool features. great place would highly recommend it for anyone starting to workout at the gym.

I have been going to this gym for last two years. Despite the changes in staff personnel and management I admire their consistency to make the members feel welcomed, the best cleaning standard of the machines, bathrooms, and the entire gym area are unparalleled I have ever seen even in any other planet fitness gym. And I have been a member of different big named gyms for about 30 years.
I think that all the staff worked or working here need to be acknowledged for such a great service they are providing for us( members). Thank you, all the hardworking staff and happy holidays to all you and your families.

The advantage of any Planet Fitness is that it's a place to work out that's inexpensively priced (~$10/month). The disadvantages are: a VERY limited selection of free-weights (e.g. no bars and weight plates; so no bench-press, no squats or other Olympic lifts, no trap-bars, etc.), a slightly preachy "tolerance" culture (that's intolerant of hard-core fitness enthusiasts), and a location-specific membership at the low price (jumps to $19/month to be able to use other locations).
Basically, there are better options available and I wouldn't join unless you have no other options acceptably close, have a really limited budget, or you're just starting out exercising (most places are still better when just starting out, but the limitations at Planet Fitness won't be as problematic for you if you are).

The facility was clean, organized, and the equipment looked brand new! It does seem like a smaller gym, but the tanning and massage stations make it seem worth the price! And it's helpful to know that there are so many locations within the valley, too!
Coming from a much larger (and more expensive gym), I'm impressed with the amenities included in the price. My husband and I are downsizing gyms, and I love that I can take him with me for free with the Black Card membership. I also LOVE that it's 24 hours.
The only downside is they are missing some of the equipment you'd find in a larger/more expensive gym. But with all of the money you'll save, you can simply buy some at-home equipment (i.e. yoga rollers, etc.)
All around, I'm impressed!

Unpleasant customer service experience. I've learned that you learn best about a business when you're trying to leave them. Some companies remain nice to you, even if the reason of your visit is to cancel the service, but not this one. I wanted to cancel because I simply don't have time for the gym. I was planning to resume to use the gym later and re-sign up again. But after seeing how they treat people I'm done. Sad, because I really liked this gym before, it seemed like a good idea and nice community. Didn't expect this.

I am literally looking for places and comparing them and so I called this location and got someone named Kayla who sounded very bored of the idea of helping me. I explained that I used to have a membership through someone else and that I was looking into getting my own membership and all she could focus on was that there used to be a membership and insisted on looking up the membership under the name of someone I don't even talk to anymore. And then when I was asking about the perks and pricing and everything she just sounded bored as hell about it like if she'd heard these questions 1 million times and I'm sure she has but you don't need to treat someone like that when they're looking into getting your premium card

I really like the atmosphere and offerings of this gym. It's probably not for everyone, but I like it here. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating to me, and I find the equipment to be more than adequate. I particularly like the 30 minute express work out, which they offer with a trainer several times per week. I generally go early in the morning, and though it claims to be a peak time I've never found it to feel too crowded. Decent price for a gym membership too, and far less corporate feeling than other gyms I've looked into.
