This is an amazing school with an amazing instructor. As an adult student who lacks self confidence and has a lot of health issues, Master Davenport has helped me to build confidence and push my physical abilities without over doing it. Bushi Kai Martial Arts is dedicated to their students and their success. This is a wonderful environment to learn in and to gain self respect. You learn as a class, but get plenty of one on one time with the instructors as well, this aids in progressing as a class, but as an individual as well. When you tell yourself you can't, the instructors and other students are there to tell you that you CAN! Get fit, gain confidence, and feel great about yourself! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school.

Highly recommended for all ages. We enjoy all the masters, especially master Deven. The teachings are well rounded. My 4 year old attends and if we ever find the time my wife and I plan to join as well

Our kids have been studying with Master Devan for about 3 years and it is incredible what they have learned. This is an excellent school if you are looking for individualized attention, and Master Devan really cares about his students. He is great with kids. He has an awesome ability to relate to people of all ages at their level. This is a mixed martial art school so there is a variety of styles being taught including weapons. There are plenty of class options and schedules so you can keep your kids busy. My kids love this school, and I am extremely pleased with the life lessons they have learned while attending.

I have been an adult student for a month and absolutely love my class! Master Davenport is a great instructor. He genuinely cares for each of his students, and understands the physical limitations some of us bring with us to class. He works with each student on personal goals and helps to develop confidence in each individual. In my short training, I have already recognized physical and emotional changes. I love knowing that I am learning a new skill set, all the while having a fun workout! Anyone looking for a great martial arts school, should come and give Bushi Kai in Taylorsville a try!

Sensei Davenport is a great instructor. His students regularly place in the top at tournaments and he teaches a very well-rounded style. My son has been a student for almost three years and has had a great experience. We are very proud to be associated with Bushi Kai Martial Arts.

Flexible schedule and a very knowledgeable instructor. A great place for both kids and adults-- perfect for fitness and self-defense. My whole family takes classes here, and we love it... A real confidence builder, awesome for learning discipline. The instructor really takes the time to work with each student individually. I can't say enough about how much we love it.
