Amazing spa! I got a gift card for a couples massage, which normally costs $210. It included a foot soak with scrub, 1 hour massage, then a soak in the giant tub for two for 30 minutes along with two cheesecake bites and two Lindt chocolates. Our therapists were SO good - you could tell they have a lot of experience and really knew some unique techniques. I usually get massages at the local massage school and there is definitely a difference between the two. The ambiance was amazing as well - so peaceful and relaxing. Candles every where and a pretty night sky above in the waiting room with twinkling lights. Shoes, a robe, and towel are provided. Afterwards you can use the showers and other little items provided for all the gym & salon members. If I could afford this on my own I would come back, but I'm still a broke entry level employee so I can't say I'll be back soon sadly! What a great one-time experience for us both.

My experience at this spa was not great. You are greeted with a horrible toxic smell that lingers through the whole place.
Do not ask for management, she is poor at her job and is extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend spending your money here, it is just not worth it.
The spa portion is so calming. Love to come here to get pedicures.

Megan at Sanctuary is definitely the best there is. She is the only person I let do my hair and she always has me leaving feeling confident and beautiful. I love the atmosphere that sanctuary has with all of their very helpful and kind staff. I will never stay from them.

Terrible customer service. My wife scheduled a women's haircut (listed as $35 on the website), got a haircut that she HATED, and was charged about $60. When she called back to ask if they could re-do her hair because she was miserable they said it would be $20 to fix it, unless she went back to the same person that screwed it up in the first place (who it turns out is the barber, not a stylist). Why did they schedule her with the barber in the first place? Why would they charge more to fix their mistake? Why was she charged almost double the price that is listed on the website?!? so many questions. In any case, she opted to pay full price elsewhere to have her hair fixed and is much happier for it. such a bummer since the location was really convenient for us

Just started using the gym here. People are friendly and there aren't many people in the gym. The locker rooms are to die for. Love them!
I made a very last minute appointment at SDS in December 30, 2017. My husband and I had relaxation massages and they were wonderful. Our therapists were excellent at asking us what pressure we enjoyed and emphasized that we should not hesitate to share when the pressure is too much or too little.
The space was perfectly serene and meditative.
The spaces were very clean and the bathrooms had a steam room that I enjoyed for some time.
The staff is friendly and communicates well. I have been to high end spas abroad and in the US at resports and SDS is on par with the best.
Also, they use Aveda products at the salon and they will utilize all organic products.

Found this little Eden last year during my annual visit to Salt Lake City. Loved it so much I'm booking again for this year. Beautiful facility. Superb staff. They thought of everything with the amenities in the locker rooms.

Always an awesome experience and the staff is amazing. Cassie is very knowledgeable and really explains everything so you fully understand.

I love the Sanctuary spa at Gateway and have been going there for over 10 years. Super close to downtown SLC. Open evenings and Sundays too. Aveda products. Staff is always friendly and massages are fantastic. Also love the foot soak/scrub before every massage!

They don't have all the equipment in the world but they do have most of what you need and they are never crowded! Steam room, sauna, crazy nice shower, towels, deodorant, combo lockers. I'd give them 4.5 stars technically but they deserve a 5!

The facility itself is amazing, it is clean and I love the atmosphere. It was so nice to come out of my massage and have the opportunity to use the steam room and nice, clean showers. This place is amazing! I came here for a haircut and eyebrow wax. Rachel did my hair and she was awesome, she listened to what I wanted and delivered and she was so fun to talk to. Jennifer did my eyebrows and it was honestly the best job anyone has ever done on my eyebrows and the receptionists were so sweet. The environment is so relaxing and the pricing is very reasonable. This is officially the salon I will always go to.

I've always has a great experience here for both haircuts and working out at the gym. The prices are reasonable and the hours are great. If you live, work, or play in the area this is a very convenient location.

From the minute I enquired about availability everyone was friendly and accommodating. I was allowed ample time in the relaxation room and steam room before and after my massage.
The environment was very relaxing and very nice. The decor was lovely and the loungers were very comfy.
