I've been there sense I was four I still love it the worst thing that happened to me was breaking my toe and I was being stupid
My daughter has been attending here for 7 months. When we started she had a male coach who was very attentive to the students and helped my daughter grow as a gymnast. A few months ago they switched her coach to a younger girl. Her new coach is constantly on her phone or focused elsewhere. Today she spent the first 20 minutes of class talking to other people in the gym. She is very unprofessional and overall not an effective coach. The gym itself is older and the mats are usually dirty. We are switching to a new gym for these reasons.
Great coaches nice mats and tons of fun
I have coached at, trained at, and taken my kids to quite a few gymnastics gyms and hands down Fred and his staff at Elite are the best in Utah.
Great owner! Great gym. Lots of fun.
My girls love it here. The coaches are great and their training us extensive. They are also reasonably priced.
I see some reviews talking about the owner's "attitude" I will agree that when he's very busy he's not the warmest, but he's watching all classes at once and making sure the kids are taken care of, everybody is being safe, he's juggling business, parent's concerns, etc. All at the same time. When he's not juggling everything, he's trying to take the time to talk to parents, watch each kid individually.
There are a couple of the coaches that I think have a little bit of room to grow, but there are a couple young kids who have impressed me 100% with their ability to help kids. One was my daughter's coach for a short time, I hope she will be her coach again. She keeps such great control of the class of small children, keeps them happy and engaged. They enjoy gymnastics, want to come back, and are learning.
This is our first year, and the whole leotard and big event was absolutely confusing. Sometimes I wish there was a bit more communication with the parents. But I know some of the parents who've been there for years and they seemed relaxed, so I figured they had it handled. Sure enough, they absolutely did. We showed up one day and they were fitting my daughter and son with their uniforms and all was smooth and taken care of.
All in all, I'm very happy with this place. We started this for my daughter who is the epitome of 'girl', my hockey son decided he wanted to try too. He climbs everything and is fairy strong, so we signed him up. He seems to be flourishing and the coaches are really taking an active interest in him to help him push himself. My daughter just loves being there and they let her go at her pace too. They both love it there so much.

The owner, Fred, is awesome. He cares individually for each child and is involved with the classes, rather than being focused only on the business side of things.

I showed up for open gym tonight at 9 pm which I drove a while for just to see that they were closed for a birthday party without informing anyone. Lots of people showed up and were disappointed. Open gym days are open gym days and should NOT be days for birthday parties. The staff came out and were very rude about it. I am so frustrated as there was no communication whatsoever.

Absolutely the worst place ever. DO NOT take your kids here.
We had ordered my daughters leotard for their recital. We were told the leotard would be here in two weeks. Two weeks had passed. And my daughters leotard still wasn't ready. My grandma asked the owner, (which everyone seems to be in love with although I have no clue why) and he copped and attitude about it. Was a comeplete jerk to my grandmother about it! The owner of this facility was out of line for just asking a question. Needless to say, no one talks to my family like that. It got ugly and he 86'd us.
The classes are too big so they have favorites and ignore the other kids.
It's disgusting and dirty, its obvious this "business owner" has NO clue what he's doing.
Also, i have seen him roughly grab kids by their arms. Very inappropriate.
If you want to waste your money here, go ahead. That's too bad that you're a bad judge of character.
Save yourself! Go somewhere else! Anywhere but here!

I would not sign my children up here. A lot of time is waisted. They are very nice, but time management doesn't seem to be their strength.
Been coming for 6 years and we love Fred and his coaches! Our daughter has learned so much and become a strong gymnast!

I did gymnastics for 12 years and coached for 12 years. I've coached in 3 different states. I would not sign my children up here. A lot of time is waisted. They are very nice, but time management doesn't seem to be their strength.
We love the gym and the coaches. Fred is a great owner! My daughter looks forward to gymnastics every week.
We love this gym for learning gymnastics as well as fun free time during open gym hours in the evening. You have to be proactive as a parent to get communication from the coaches, but they are always helpful when I ask.
Great Place! I no longer live close enough to attend, but enjoyed competing on team the two years I was there.
My 6yo daughter started taking gymnastics here at the beginning of this month. I am NOT impressed at all. The classes seem way overcrowded and there is no personal attention at all. The instructors don't pay attention and seem to be more concerned with chatting and flirting with each other than actually teaching the kids anything. As soon as I find another gym, I am pulling my daughter out of this one.
I started going to this gymnastics when i was ten now i am twelve and training level five. The teachers are great at there job. They help me so much every class i get better. My mom loves all of the teachers to. Fred the person who owns the gym also helps with the classes he does a great job every time. So if you are looking for a gymnastics for your kids this is the place to take them.
Open gym here is terrible! Me and my little sister went last night to practice and we couldn't even do anything. Little kids EVERYWHERE. Constantly running across the tumble track and behind you on the floor while you're trying to tumble. There is a reason some gyms have a different open gym for ages 12 & under. It was a waste of our money. We will not be back.
I'd show up and bounce around for a while.. throw in a few flips and tricks. No biggie.
Looking for a REAL gymnastics place - not some bush-league tumbling gym run by some "coach" that hasn't personally experienced a taste of physical fitness (let alone be "a gymnast") since like high school? Then this is the place you're looking for.
The coaches are great, and the kids have a ton of fun. But they will push your kid and develop them in both the sport and discipline.
No just rolling over random foam rollers or running around with streamers to mid-90s Celine Dion music here - this is the real deal.
