Very disappointed. Came across a coupon for a "Free VIP Membership" and called to inquire because it was vague with no small print to speak of. The General Manager in Ogden (Dustin) confirmed that if there was no written stipulation, I could take the coupon into the closest Gold's Gym and redeem it. When I got there, a teenager took the coupon, got on his cell phone, called his supervisor and told me that he would not honor the coupon. The supervisor at this location arbitrarily made the pass for "7 days" even though it is nowhere stipulated, AND I had already cleared it through the G.M. Complete waste of my time and a poor reflection on management who does not honor their word. Additionally, I find the bombardment of over-eager/desperate e-mail offers to be annoying. I will be communicating my experience to all friends and loved ones, with the suggestion that they take their business to places with more integrity.
