Great people very clean gym. Try them out
New to CrossFit, and Tekton has been the best home for me as a beginner. If you are afraid of being the new kid, don't worry, everyone is so welcoming and helpful! The coaches are incredibly knowledgable and kind. I also love that they offer Burn and Mobility classes in addition to CrossFit. I honestly can't say enough good things! Go there now!!
Love this place. Great workouts, great people, and great equipment. I've been to a handful of gyms in the Salt Lake Valley and this is the only one that has had a serious "rig".
They have all the equipment you would need for a good workout session. The coaches and trainers and amazing and really push you to get something done. Tons of space and water fountains just in case. It's really close to everything and is just all around awesome.
Tekton is more then just a gym it's a strong community and family. No matter if you are new, a drop in or have gone to the gym for years, you are always greeted with a smile and able to speak to any coach about modifications you may need depending on your ability/skill level. The classes are full of fun and laughter and you walk out feeling great!
Mediocre facility. When I cancelled my membership, I was told that my account was "deactivated" even though I was still charged for the next month. I checked online and my account was still active, with a payment still scheduled for the month after that.
Dropped in while on business and loved the experience. The coach was very high energy and friendly. The group i WOD'd with was also very inviting and made me feel part of their box from the moment I walked in. If I make it back to Salt Lake, I'll definitely drop in again.
I went there and from the first day the trainers were great and all of the customers very friendly and supportive.
Very large and well equipped box. The people are also friendly and the owner makes sure you are welcomed at the place! Good first impression, will definitely continue working out there.
I have been going to this gym for about 2 years now and i have nothing but nice things to say about it. The atmosphere there is unlike anything I have seen and the people make the harder workouts manageable. There is true a sense of community in this gym and everyone will cheer you on regardless of your skill/fitness level. Everyone matters and that is something that is not forgotten regardless of how many times you enter and leave the gym.
All of the coaches are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and invest in each person all that they can so that they can succeed. None are left to "figure it out".
I am extremely lucky that I found this gym. If you are on the fence about trying CrossFit or are not sure if you will like it, talk to any coach and try at least 1 beginner session. You will not be disappointed!
I've been going to Tekton CrossFit for almost two years now. My experience from day one has been great. The owner truly cares about the people that come, makes sure we have a clean area to use and ensures that we have the proper equipment. I usually attend a class time when another coach is there and not the owner but I still receive excellent attention and training.
When I started at Tekton, it was at a different location but because of the growth and desire to give us members more space and opportunity, they moved to a larger facility, where it is now. The space allows the regular WODs to run, as well as, room for any additional training.
The Tekton family is just that. They call themselves The Herd and use an elephant as their mascot because they are family oriented. Everyone has treated me like family and support and help me through my workouts.

The owners/coaches are amazing and have a high level of coaching skills. They care for all the athletes regardless of skill levels. From old, young, fat, thin or pregnant women. You'll find a fun, motivating place to workout. You'll amaze yourself of what you're able to accomplish. It's not just a gym it's a family.
