He is a good guy but they also work with any budget

Tried calling for days but the number on Google maps is disconnected and when I finally found the actual number it either rings with no answer or I get a hang up after 3 rings. Can't even leave a voicemail. Awesome. Won't waste my time anymore.

Great place to train and learn the basics of boxing. Lots of Friendly people at the gym. They work with any budget you may have. Mr. Randazzo is great person to talk too. He's always walking around the gym talking to everyone giving pointers and letting you know how your doing.

The gym is awesome. I was visiting from out of town and everybody was welcoming and friendly. The owner Santos (or Sammy) was friendly and gave me a free t shirt. Not only that he gave me his time and held the mitts for me. Santos also gave me some boxing tips and pointers that were very helpful. I would recommend this boxing gym to anybody that likes boxing. Safe and clean environment as well.

I'm in my mid-30s and I went to Randazzo's boxing gym to help get in shape and learn some boxing skills. Santos Randazzo was always friendly and never once treated me disrespectfully. The negative reviews I seen on here are completely uncharacteristic of my experience there. There are a lot of fighters that workout there, mostly teens, so its hard for the coaches to spend time a lot of time with a single particular fighter. I definately enjoyed my time training there and highly recommend this gym as a place to train. The negative reviews here seem to be retaliation against Santos over some personal issue as there completely unrepresentative of Santos and his boxing gym.

Hello my name is Braylan Brooks I am a boxer and have been training out of Randazzos boxing gym for over a year before coming to Texas I also Trained In Seattle and Los Angeles. The facility is pretty nice compared to other gyms in the area, unfortunately Santo Randazzo (the Owner) does a lot of drinking which effects his mood so it fluctuates on a day to day basis, he does not teach a style, doesnt guide and help mold the minds of these fighters and if you know boxing you know it's 100% psychological . Instead he just puts them in the ring and let's them go at it with little to no proper training which is very dangerous if your child or even an adult chooses to start competing. Also Santo is the only trainer in the Gym and when other people come around and try to help he kicks them all out and the reason I know this is because he kicked both of my trainers out of the gym for absolutely no logical reason other than jealousy and when asked why they had to leave he said I don't have to explain I own this gym, he did try to get me to stay but how far can I go without being trained? When you go into the gym u should ask him what professional fighters he has and what are his plans with them. Boxing is one of the worlds most deadly sports and can not be played around with like football or basketball. When you get into that ring anything can happen and if you are not trained to defend and strike you could end up seriously injured. I wish the circumstances at the gym could be different but ultimately the gym is run by a man (Santo Randazzo) who prides himself on alcoholism and does not care to properly train these fighters both kids and adults. I hope you all read this and hopefully find an alternative for you or your child's own safety

I used to box for Randazzo back in 2012 and the gym is definitely better than most in San Antonio. Part of what the top guy is saying is true but to an extent. Santo is basically the business minded one. When I boxed he came through for us in regards to the quality of fighters we competed against. Also the venues. He does care about his fighters several time he has helped us younger guys financially, transportation wise and general life lessons. Idk bout the drinking tho, I never smelt his breath nor noticed any mood swings. And I was there everyday even Saturday.
His brother Frankie is more of the trainer or nurturing type. He definitely knows boxing. He pays particular attention to his fighters. Not only the ones whom are black. he notices talent like any other trainer.
I would recommend this gym, when people ask where I fight out of I say Randazzo and ive fought out of Hawaii , San Diego, and Houston. I'm from the Tone Randazzo boxing gym will always be home to me.

Totally unprofessional. I was called today by Sammy to discuss my children and not only was he beyond disrespectful, he proceeded to hang up in my face upon completion of his conversation. I never spoke other than answering the phone and before today I was never approached about any issues. How do you fix what you are unaware is broken? I am extremely disappointed and will be sharing with all my friends and colleagues. It is not okay to speak to another person the way he spoke to me, i have not received an apology and I cannot recall another time in recent history that I have felt so disrespected as an adult woman. I'd post NO starts, but that's not an option. So disappointed in the way he has behaved towards me and don't find it coincidental that he chose to call me and behave that way instead of my husband, who deals with the gym on the day to day. Real classy guy.. hollering at a Mamma and hanging up in her face !!

I cannot recommend this gym. Its unprofessionally run. The owner really knows nothing about the sweet science of boxing. He is incapable of training even amateurs to a decent level. He simply relies on kids natural talent to win matches and is not qualified in any means to be a boxing coach. Its time for people to hear the truth about this gym. Over the past 6 months Ive witnessed him showing up drunk and smelling like vodka a few times a week, yelling at kids and kicking young adults out. Ive trained at many famous gym over the years Kronks gym in Detroit, Cus' in Catskill NY and Gleason's Gym in Brooklyn. This guy does Not have a clue what he is doing. The exploitation of young black fighters is appalling. The most tragic part is how careless he is with all his young fighters. There is a lot of young talented kids in San Antonio trying to fight their way out of poverty and make a better life for themselves.. That is what boxing is all about. Santo Exploits these poor kids for monthly dues and just uses them as cannon fodder putting them in his fight shows just to make money. Ask any of his young fighters if they have ever been instructed properly by Santo the answer will be promptly, NO. He has no technical knowledge or a way to communicate it . He doesn't know boxing and probably shouldn't even own a gym. Let alone the drinking and mood swings he not qualified to coach this sport. He doesn't have the knowledge the boxing I.Q. or the Pedigree. Upon further inspection he never had a proper career himself. He claims he came from NY and boxed, but upon further inspection he never trained and nobodies ever heard of him in New York state. I know I was born there. This is not a Good person or trainer and his explicit exploitation of young fighters is sickening. Listening this guy try to coach fighters is laughable AND TRAGIC AT THE SAME TIME. HES GOING TO GET SOMEONE HURT SOMEDAY. The truth is he doesn't care.
