25 dollars for your first class is insane. I have NEVER seen a yoga studio that doesn't have a trial period or first timers price. For my sister and I to try out a class, it was going to be 50 dollars. It would be cheaper if we bought a package, but we were informed that they are moving soon over 8 miles away, so a package was out of the question. It was a wasted trip. First impression was not great, no one to greet us, an iPad to register that wouldn't work correctly. And the whole place feels like they are trying to sell you things. It's not a relaxing atmosphere.
I went to drop off business cards for my photography. She was super rude! I didn't do anything wrong. I walked in and noone was at the desk, so I just put them on the bench where the other business cards were. I walk out and she comes around the corner, so I just tell her I'm dropping off business cards for my business. She brings them to me and says sorry, I'd prefer to know you, so I say oh ok, well I didn't see or hear anyone so I thought I'd just bribg some by. She was a Smart A** about it. Glad I didn't want to try yoga classes with her company. And btw. It's super cluttered when you first walk in. Not a great first impression.
I recommend this yoga center for everyone!! Nydia and all other instructors are absolutely amazing. I appreciate each time I attend a yoga session I am not feeling a competition with my surrounding neighbors nor am I encouraged to do anything beyond the point of discomfort. I love the constant reminders to simply "Breathe" and "if breathing is all you can do, then you are doing enough".. If you are seeking a personalized approach at your own pace to Yoga this is the place for you! Each time I attend here are all types of people, ranging in age, body types, male/female, are present and encouraged to do what their body allows. I LOVE YOU NYDIA's YOGA THERAPY. Will never look for another place!
