Been going to this gym for about 2 years already and now my son has started going with me at 4am every morning and the staff is friendly and helpful it's a good place to go and work out but the only thing is that you get those guys that start yelling while they are lifting the weights and wish they would tell them guys something. But over all good place to work out.

I love coming to the gym.. Its my get away.. I'm here every day from 445 to at least 715am..but there are women here that Do not wipe down.. The staff needs to do a walk through . Mainly in the 30in area..

Employees are cheerful and helpful. Equipment is clean and maintained. I really enjoying workouts here.

It really is a judgement-free zone... or people just keep comments to themselves; my boyfriend and I have been in there several times and nothing bad was ever said to us directly (he's going for physical therapy and I need to lose weight); the only exercise machine that's a bit of a problem just to use it is the bicycle. Trying to hold the shoe straps in place is annoying!! The most popular equipment is the treadmill so at times, there may not be one to use (two were out of order which didn't help).

A wonderful experience every time I go in. No need to worry about judgemental looks, as everyone is in there to better themselves, without putting others down.

The place is decent to workout if you work nights it's always open so you always have a place to workout. But the water fountains are terrible, the water tastes like grass and it's never cold I mean honestly who wants lukewarm grass flavored water. They always say they can't take cash for your membership dues and will hassle you if you don't have a card on file, even if you have the cash with you they will however do cash transactions for drinks and anything else they sell behind the counter and if you go in and manage to have someone take your cash on the day of or the day before the membership payment is due they will charge you a late fee because "the system has to process your payment" how does that make sense I literally handed you the money you don't have to wait for my bank to send over confirmation or anything like that.

BEWARE OF GYM CHARGES BEFORE JOINING!!! My spouse joined the gym and shortly after was in an accident where he sustained multiple body injuries. We went to location to cancel auto draft, and was told they would cancel his membership. This was done since July 20th, 2017. Today a year later we caught a yearly fee deducted from our bank account. We went in to our bank to find out this place had still been deducting monthly fees since 2017! I called today and spoke to Jorge and was told there was nothing he could do and offered no solution. Even after I told him I had all Medical documentation that proved my spouse was not able to and still cannot hold a gym membership. Who in their right mind would continue to pay on a membership they cannot use? My husband is still under medical care and may need surgeries and all this man could do is call me a liar. When I started calling to speak to someone, they kept giving me the runaround directing me to a third party billing office and then to corporate office that responded with: "I needed to contact that location" because Planet fitness is a franchise. I hope this helps others consider in dealing with this gym.

They will have your vehicle illegally towed and claim to know nothing about it. The manager just stood there and pretend not to hear the conversation. One employee confirmed that they have a deal with some sketchy towing company that patrols the parking lot regularly and tows vehicles that aren't illegally parked. When you ask the name of the company, because you're now stranded, they'll claim to not know, even though they sat there and watched the truck hook up and take the car. Avoid this location at all costs. It's not safe or trustworthy. The employees are also more concerned with gossiping with their friends than helping members. Spend your money elsewhere.
Edit, since I can't respond. Note their reply where they still don't take responsibility for THEIR EMPLOYEES calling sketchy towing companies and having cars illegally towed. Sounds like someone is profiting. Avoid at all costs.

Love this gym!! Staff are super friendly and clean on the hour. The people that go their clean after themselves. The employees are super helpful and will help if you ask. I have been to some gyms that were dirty or employers are rude. So by far this is the best gym to me.

Clearly it had not been cleaned in quite some time! I put paper towels down to stand on and didn't touch anything! I felt like I was in a men's restroom at a convenient store!
There was a bottle of cleaner and paper towels but no trash can in the room!! I am only here for my husband's work!! This location was the closest to where we are staying! I'll definitely go the distance for a cleaner planet fitness!!

Trainer and equipment is great.. people at counter are rude... But I don't have to deal with them except to check in so that is a good thing

I haven't been a member that long. However when i signed up and got my welcome packet the gentlemen who helped me was very nice and helpful. Ive taken my 11 year old grandson with me twice. The third time was this past Sunday. The guy that was at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. He asked for the guests phone number? I said he's 11 doesnt have a phone. Its not what he said it's the manner in which he delivered the message. He said he cant be here. I said oh ok i wasnt aware the other two times he came no one ever said he couldn't so i was under the impression it was ok. He proceeded to pull out the gym rules slaps them on the counter and says here are the rules if you need to read then AGAIN. I said no i dont i believe you im just shocked because no one ever said anything before. Im trying to show my 11 year old grandson to stay fit he's 110 lbs obviously hes a little heavy for his age but that attitude and negativity didnt help any. I think ill cancel my membership and go elsewhere. I guess you get what you pay for is true in this scenario.

I love working out here everything is very clean and the people are very clean everyone cleans up after themselves. The machines are very good once in awhile one or two will go out but they fix them quickly and I like that I also really like the area and the tanning beds and the massage chairs are really cool I never had a massage just like the one I had in the massage chairs here at Planet Fitness it makes it easy trying to get in shape having a place like this.. the only thing I would do different if I was the owner I think I would sell like sandwiches because everyone wants to eat after they workout...

This is the busiest location in San Antonio, likely because the staff is extremely nice and the facility is clean. A+ I enjoy this location the most.

So worth the fee to have the freedom to just go do it. Put in the effort & get it done. I don't know why I have to fight inertia because each time I walk out I feel like Tony the Tiger: Grrreat!!! Something about still being able to move AND get a massage.

The staff is extremely rude. Off duty employees hang out with those on duty. They just play around and use their phones. They pay no attention to what is happening in the gym. Members frequently do not clean equipment after they use it and the gym is messy overall. On many occasions, I was allowed in without checking in because staff was busy doing something else. I used to workout here in the late evening after the after work crowd slowed down.
I once complained to a staff member about someone that was throwing empty bottles around the gym just barely missing members that were there working out, including myself. I was told "oh, he can do whatever he wants, because he works here." The use of inappropriate language was also prevalent among gym staff.

I have been to a few gyms, and I really like the people that work here. Usually, gyms are always trying to sell you something, but here, they genuinely seem interested in you and your satisfaction. The facilities are always clean and there is cardio equipment available at all times.

Why I gave it a 4 star rating:
1. No free weight barbells.
2. Super cheap membership.
3. Multiple locations.
4. Didn't find a calf machine that I like.
5. Better than no gym!

Great place to work out. Me and the wife love it. It's packed on the weekdays, but the weekends are pretty dead. I would say if you go during the week the earlier the better.

Helpful employees and other members. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of equipment available. Lockerrooms offer plenty of lockers, toiletries (deodorant, more, and even locks if you lose/forget yours), and changing rooms.

Sorry but this place has horrible customer services. The staff is ok, but the night manager sucks. At a big place like this you would expect great customer service and satisfaction rate. But you know what they say first impression matters and a lot.

This place has been amazing to workout at. Everytime I walk in I am greeted with a smile and the staff is helpful when I do not bring in my keytag. They even told me about the app which I use now to enter in case I bring my other vehicle. Place is great guys keep up the great work.
