Deceptive billing and cancellation practices. Even if you follow the 30 day notice rule they will continue to bill you and simply put the blame off on whoever was working that day or that the corporate office messed up.
This is especially true if you have family add ons, they will only cancel one membership. give you a cancellation form and tell you you are all good, then you continue to get billed for your family adds ons, once again they will put blame on whoever was working that shift or corporate.
If you are looking for a better facility, honest employees equipment, space, chlidcare, cleanliness, all around just better staff and rates, I recommend the YMCA Semmes at Tripoint, family of 4 for $95. Kids allowed at age of 8 or 9 to workout with parent. Much more equipment and fitness toys!!! They keep their word as well, honest and better quality all around.
Continued to bill after cancellation. And yes even after the final 30 day final window bill.
Took in paperwork twice already and they admitted they were wrong and that it would be refunded ASAP.
Apologies and smiling faces do not make up for deceptive billing practices and/or incompetence.
Only 2 things are happening
1) Either you are trying to keep your attrition numbers/metrics to look good by deceptive practices because you have difficulties truly hitting your club goal
Or
2) You are simply just not doing your job correctly and need additional training or help.
Please raise your standards as a club and staff to fulfill your obligations to your clients.
Love the view. Unfortunately, prices are slightly higher than other establishments. They have 3 membership tiers, the least for access to only this location, the highest granting access to higher tier locations with raquetball and pools.
Appreciated that our tour was short and sweet, with no unnecessary pressure to upsell. Might be worth it to get a membership here, for the knowledgeable personal trainers, friendly employees, early and late hours, personal focus, and generally sophisticated "feel".
Great gym! Love working out here, they have every machine you need. The staff is very nice and help with anything you need.
I had an awesome experience here! Visiting from The Netherlands, needed a place to continue my half marathon training. Called to ask for a week membership, was called back at the time stated. When I came in with my mom, Ana Zigler Gen mgr greeted us and gave us a tour of the facilities explaining how the machines I wanted to use worked. She was so enthusiastic and helpful!! Even my mom is now talking about taking classes here, Ana's enthusiasm was infectious. Thank you Gold's Gym for providing a place for me to continue my goals even on vacation. Will be back next time!

I have upgraded my membership to include the monthly 3d scans. On Saturday I went in and was very disappointed with the service I received during the scan. The employee was more concerned with pushing personal training on me than discussing the progress I made. I let him know that I believed the scale was incorrect due to the fact that there was a supposed 8 pound increase from last month. He shook it off and continued telling me how personal training was available so I could reach my goals. Needless to say I will be cancelling that option on my membership.
Never had an issues at this gym. Haven't tried any classes but they seem pretty intense. It definitely does get busy around 5-6pm, but generally there's an open machine or spot. There's enough machines for you to not have to wait for someone to finish. Only thing I would recommend is being more strict with people who aren't actually working out. There's one guy I see in there a lot who lays on the same mat and plays on his phone for 45 minutes and isn't even working out. I've also seen two women who were taking pictures and posing for a solid 30 minutes. Would be more considerate to others who are actually waiting for a mat, but nothing too serious.

I use the gym almost on a daily basis. Great establishment with great personnel at the front desk especially at 5:30 in the AM. Has become a comfortable familiar place to be.

Is incredible how we can't trust in the people to work in this location..and the manager never help you to resolve serious problem but they always have time to talk. And kis friend at the Gym ..

This golds gym is nice and clean. Weights are organized and gym members seem to care for the equipment unlike other locations I have been to in town.
Great gym with a very friendly staff. Justin was my primary contact when I was setting up my membership and he went out of his way to help me. I have been a member of many gyms over the years, this one has the best staff I have encountered thus far!
They removed the lady at the front desk! It's pretty obvious they look into your feedback and take necessary action(s) when needed to in order to resolve it. It's a great gym and a great location!
Not the best Gold's out there, but not bad either. The locker rooms are clean, but some of the lockers are broken. It gets very crowded at peak times, but really seems to be crowded all the time. Love the cycling class with Beth. It can get pretty intense, but you're able to go at your level of intensity, if needed. Get there early because it fills up quickly.
Sucks yall dont give out prices over the phone. Trying to sign up 5 people which would benefit you guys but the guy wouldnt tell me how much for even 1 person. Im calling around for the best price and amenities to see who is worth my money. Im not going to drive to you and then end up not getting the membership. Yall should def have people talk about pricing over the phone. Saves alot of people time.
These guys kept charging me after I cancelled. I finally had to just cancel the credit card. Somehow they got access to my new card and arbitrarily charged me nearly two hundred dollars. THIS IS A FREQUENT, COMMON PRACTICE AT THIS GYM. You CANNOT cancel at any time. Thieves.
