I have been to a few places in San Antonio and Kevan is hands down the best coach. He remembers exactly what your weak points are and tries to give u attention during workouts to get rid of bad habits. It's a fun place...awesome people.
Coaches are some of the best i have ever seen. I recommend Fieldhouse for anyone looking to start cross fit or just want a great place to workout.
Kevan is an excellent trainer and the only reason I stayed in crossfit. He cares more about form and doing it right than reps and wait. Great coach!

i was very cautious when I decided to venture from Bodybuilding to Crossfit. I had herd so many horror stories about bad form and bad coaching. However, after my free try at Fieldhouse I knew that the instructors there were the real deal! From the warm up, to the break down of Olympic Lifts like Snatches, I was hooked! The workouts and training regimen designed by Kevin the owner are awesome!! The coaching that you receive there is definitely something rare. The energy is excellent, the members are friendly and encouraging. And on top of all of that the facility is in a great location and the equipment is clean and well taken care of. Yep!! Im in!!

One week in and I'll tell you what separates everything for me is the coaching. I have onlky worked out with Kevan, but I can tell he is patient puts a focus on the details and correct movements. So far so good!!

I recently visited fieldhouse San Antonio as I live in the area so the location was convenient. After doing one of their classes (1st class is free!) and going over the pricing I was extremely disappointed. The facility was extremely dirty. The floors looked like the haven't been cleaned in days! You could see dirt on my clothing and everyone else's after the workout was finished. This was a huge sanitary issue as a lot of the exercises you are on the ground. The restrooms also had the same cleanliness. The sinks were dirty, trash was full, no toilet paper or paper towel holders.
After the class I was explained the different memberships they offer and was extremely surprised by the prices. The price was slightly more than most crossfit type gyms in the San Antonio area. The prices would have been reasonable if this was a crossfit affiliated gym with all the equipment and specialty class that most gyms offer. This gym offers no mobility or barbell classes. They did not have any rowing machines or bike machines that almost every crossfit gym has at least a few. For the prices they charge you can find a much nicer gym with all the amenities that you would expect if you are paying upwards of $160 a month.
Great box. Kevan is very knowledgeable no matter what level your at. Atmosphere is good and everyone is friendly and helpful. If you've ever thought about trying crossfit but didn't know if it is for you or felt intimidated give this gym a try. You won't regret it.
Coaching is great! Programming is great! Overall Workout experience... great!
Great place to workout. Will scale and accommodate all levels.
Fun place to workout. The coach is great at evaluating and making sure people at all levels of fitness have a safe and good workout.
