This was my first work out after over a year off and I feel great! This gym is female friendly The staff was knowledgeable, professional, motivating, as well as considerate of individual strengths and weaknesses. Friendly environment and patrons at all levels of fitness. Various styles and approaches to fitness. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good gym.

In town visiting and found this gem. Not a typical commercial gym but perfect for a locally own strength and conditioning facility for the serious athlete.

This gym is amazing. It has equipment for people who want to do regular workouts but it has a lot of equipment for people who are doing some serious training. My friend brought me in to check it out and it definitely motivated me to push harder and be better. They have an array of specialty machines inside, but when you go out to the back there are atlas balls and tires to push. It was awesome. I cant wait to go back.
This is not just a fitness center, it is like a family! You feel very comfortable. The owner Tim Ingram is absolutely wonderful and very very knowledgeable. He has a degree in kinesiology along with many certifications not to mention that he is an awesome personal trainer! One of his former trainee and gym members Jackie was chosen for the first season of the Titan Games with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. That is a testament in itself. I totally enjoy working out and getting strong at Heavy Metal!
Owners are super nice, and everyone here treats each other like family and help you out when you need it.
BEST GYM IN TEXAS! The owners Michelle and Tim are incredible and really work hard to make this gym feel like home! If you're new to working out or a Pro, you will LOVE this gym! I haven't found a gym that comes close to Heavy Metal Fitness since I moved away!

Took one workout here to seal the deal for me. Great environment, every specialty bar you could imagine, and friendly and helpful staff add up to create an amazing atmosphere.

The owners are extremely friendly, down to earth and just plain awesome!!! Personal training and training plans. This place is for those who are serious about weightlifting. Just moved to a new location and new equipment, some that you won't find in other franchise gyms. Awesome place. It's a MUST if you are thinking about joining a gym.

I never write reviews, but this place is definitely review worthy. Awesome facility. Well equipped for all of your training needs. Check it out! Over 90% of their equipment is elite fts or rogue! I like quality and atmosphere. This is definitely my strength haven of choice. Owners: very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Also, some of the nicest people I've ever met. The patrons here are kind and considerate. None of those typical gym douchbags talking ish about everyone. Anyway, i can't say enough good things about this place. Check it out for yourself. I visited here on a day pass. In the three days I am in San Antonio I had planned to go to two different gyms for day passes but after my first workout here I have decided to go back a second time. This place is awesome. It has everything I could want in a gym. Multiple racks, tons of plates, lots of bars and specialties bars. They have a prowler and a turf track to push it on or do farmer walks. They also have some strongman equipment as well. I had a chance to meet the owners they were great people who seem to love what they do. If I lived in San Antonio, this would be my first choice of gyms to join. I will be visiting her whenever I am in the area. Your first workout is free! and day passes are only 10 dollars. I also bought one of their t shirts. Very comfortable and with a cool design
This place is the real deal! If you're serious about being a strength athlete whether it be powerlifting, strongman, or just getting stronger in general then you need to be training here. The owners are phenomenal people who put the needs of their athletes and patrons above everything else. They have top notch equipment and they are dedicated to educating their folks by offering seminars with some of the greatest names in the industry. Love this gym, love the atmosphere, and most of all I love the people. Go check it out and get strong!
