Its a great location, more than enough equipment to get good results.
Not too crowded and plenty of fitness equipment
I like this gym due to the simple layout and older machines.. Thats just me..I'm old school lifter..north side gyms are too spaced out or not enough squat racks

I am very disappointed on the one on Zarzamora and Military I've already asked three times how come that machine has not been fixed well today the manager told me that the part's were to old and they were outdated and the restroom are always dirty they're really let go of that place. I am so glad they're opening up a Planet Fitness across from Gold's Gym. ..
Several times ive showed up at 8 am on a Sunday when it opens but the gym is still closed. This morning i waited for an hour and still the gym was closed. I wasn't the only one waiting either.
Gym staff has always been helpful when it comes to any issue and the equipment is great as well. I dont understand all these complaints from these other people because ive never had an issue here.(must be entitled)
My experience at this gym has been nothing less than amazing. My trainer Isaiah is fantastic and the front desk staff (Matt, Isaiah G) are great as well! Best gym in the city by far. Highly recommend this gym. Again Isaiah is a fantastic trainer!

The workout area was okay but the locker room was filthy. The bathroom area was disgusting. And the showers were dirty.

Not the biggest gym but it's a gym. Get in, lift, and get out.
Great gym! The staff is friendly and respectful. My trainer Isaiah has been outstanding. Very knowledgeable and motivating.
My husband is a contract worker and will be staying in San Antonio for 1.5 months. Called this gym as we have had past positive interactions with other gold's gym locations for temporary membership when staying somewhere briefly. There are no options with the management currently at this gym. Online, gold's policy is that it is up to each location of how to handle offering temporary membership. Staying in shape is important to both of us when on the road, but apparently, roping people into long term contracts is all that this gym manager cares about. If you care about fitness and health, join a different gym or different gold's location with more customer and fitness/health centered management.

Not only they stole from me,.,., they asked me to email them and I am still waiting for a response... DO NOT GO HERE!! WORST STAFF and WORST SERVICE... Plenty of other gyms... if I could give them half a star I would.

Gym supposed to open at 5:00am, it was 5:30 and there was still a lot of people waiting outside, for a lot of us thats the only time we have to visit the gym and unfortunately they werent reliable enough to open on time.
Its ok.. I can't stand the fact I'm paying full throttle membership and the sana hasn't been working for a month now. It's oneof the reasons i come to military and Zarzamora. Not to mention it's really small- do not provide towels. Yes the staff is nice and all but you'd at least think we get more bc of what we are paying for. This is ridiculous
Is 0 a option I have been swiping my pass n it does not log me in. I am asking for the corporate phone number. However no one knows it or can provide to me. 2 now day 3 and nothing.

The staff is super cool and helpful, they pick up the mess of members. The gym members are friendly and helpfull too and point out some tips. Amazing gym overall.
I really like this location because I've gotten to know some of the staff and many of the regulars there. It is small, but I don't mind it. One MAJOR draw back is the treadmills are in TERRIBLE condition. Half are being serviced or broken and been like that for so long that dust is collecting on them. Many have been broken for a month with no repair. The treadmills that do "work" will skip or suddenly shut off and you have to restart your work out, the older ones without a screen have lights on the numbers going out and you can't tell your time or distance. I go to a different location for cardio which is a big inconvenience especially since my husband and I pay a full membership for this kind of crappy equipment. None of the staff seems to have an ETA on the repairs either. Cardio section is pathetic and they need new leg press and leg curl machine. Leg press is all rusted and doesn't lock properly and the roll on leg curl is bent so the weight isn't even distributed.
