I love Planet Fitness. Even during peak hours, I rarely have to wait to use a machine or equipment. The staff is friendly and helpful, facility is always clean (particularly restrooms,locker rooms). Parking is abundant and handicap accessible. Open 24hrs.

Very easy going gym. Their goal is to make you feel welcome no matter where you are on your fitness journey. Ive never felt judged and there are no intimidating people around. Everyone is always friendly and respectful. No classes. They do have an app where you can view how to use the different machines or plan your own workout.

This particular gym has some staffing and management issues. The manager Cedric went in to the ladies room to have my guest abruptly leave the locker room RIGHT after she got out of the shower. He called the police on me over owing a $30 bill and went in the gym to train anyhow and wait an hour for a more professional manager. He yelled at me as I left to "get a job". When I called corporate they had the regional manager contact me and she happens to go to that gym and her and the EXTREMELY unprofessional manager are friends. I was banned from the club over this. There was no violence. No expletives. Just a poor excuse for this company. I train regularly and am in good physical condition, have had more than a few friends sign up and I get banned over a 30 bill and the police called. Absolutely ridiculous. I'd recommend Gold's gym LITERALLY right across the street

The facilities are very clean. The staff is present and visibly engaged with the customers an other duties. 99.9% of the equipment is maintenance ready. The people are friendly and courteous. There are ample serviceable safety pads present for use with the weight bars to prevent injury while working out.

My husband and I are really pleased with our membership to planet fitness. There is a no judgment zone. We feel comfortable among the members there. We like the there is no strings attached, no contract.

I love my home planet's staff! Most of them know me by name and are always encouraging me and cheering me on or helping me through tough times. I live farther away from it now, but still go as much as I can. Won't consider going to another gym.

Gym is nice. Kinda small but a good size for the clientele volume. Staff has been curt, inattentive and needs to be redirected often. Not a team that works together smoothly. On my first day, I was not offered a tour or instruction for using the massage beds/chars or tanning beds.

Not my favorite location. Member service could use some revamping. Seems like nobody at the desk a lot.

I got really excited to join again because of the staff and other gym members there. All so kind. I'm barely starting up again on the gym life, and this is the perfect place to progress since it's so welcoming and judge-free. Great equipment too!

I walk in here 3-5 times a week, everything is clean. Staff greets me, and wishes me farewell every time. Even when it is busy, there is plenty of equipment. I do my work out, use the tanning booth and leave. I never have an issue. I would recommend this location.

Just giving this a 3 because of issues I keep having with treadmills. I usually run into 2 every other visit. The rest of the place is nice. Staff is friendly. Place is clean.

Come to find out that this location does not honor the perks points one earns. Not something they advertise until you try to redeem them. Pretty deceptive!!!

$10 is badass for a gym membership and so everyone and their mom seems to think. It's so busy here but I've never had to wait for a machine too long they have so much equipment. Just so many sweaty bodies ugh. Give planet fitness a try! This one is just very busy.

BEWARE YOUR WALLET. This place is shady AF. Some unauthorized person was charging their account to my card. Staff would not assist in anyway and said I had to call the police for help. Lol like the police are going to do anything over a few hundred dollars of stollen services!
I must strongly recommend to not use this business or at least do not allow auto payment / auto ACH. You may end up paying for someone else!

I love how large this place is. You have just about everything you need for all different kind of ways you would want to work out. I wish they had more than just two changing rooms in the locker rooms.

Easy to get to, good parking, mostly clean (aside from a handful of folks that don't wipe their equipment down.), and decent customer service.

In all fairness, the machines here are newer than the bigger PF off of Bandera and Huebner, and the lockers are very nice and clean.
The only thing that stops short is the water fountain. The water bottle fill station is always breaking, and there is only one.

Been to 50+ PF across the country and I still think this PF San Antonio Franchise is always lack something in the changing/restroom... aka They cut corners...

Rude Rude Rude... apparently they're all rude here in San Antonio and they're all owned by the same owner as well as Corpus Christie. So expect every location to have zero customer service at all locations. If you are transferring in from out of state just pay the cancellation fee instead of the transfer fee they charge and find another gym in SA because the staff are rude and disrespectful at all locations. Cancel before you move and find a better gym. Any one will be better. PS When you see they only respond to positive reviews it means they don't care about your experience, they just want your money!!

I like this spot it's a few extra min away from home but it's always a good atmosphere here. Bathroom are always clean and machine selection is awesome.
