I have to wonder if this is a place two people decided to open a business and not know, not understand how much work that is needed. This started by me texting father's day weekend for Father's day Sunday schedule as I was thinking this would be my first day and I was not sure if the place was open or not. I texted The mobile number listed on the LionsDen website and informed there is only one class for that day and that classes will resume to normal schedule. I decide to attend my first day today June 22, the online schedule says cardio at 8:30 am Saturday. Great! I get there and got the vibe, communication and customer service needs work! Mind you. I introduced myself and told her I enrolled in the Groupon promotion. Apparently that was not the schedule. She said it's subject to change and to check Facebook. I told her, if I am new and it's my first day, I don't know that. The other lady who I think was the instructor and gave no introduction told me to pull up the Groupon offer to reedem the voucher (on the spot) and for copy of driver's license. (Who would think I need to give them a copy of my driver's licence this is only an exercise group and I left my wallet in the trunk for safe keeping.).. I recall thinking they need to communicate with each other about changing schedules and and not only post on Facebook but post on their website and forward particular information that is needed for first visit customers.
During this time,
The female instructor is taking measurements off women's bodies. I inform the female instructor, I was not told to bring my ID and my purse is in my car. Her vibe appeared stressed and (not my problem) cold. No welcome. No smile.Nointroduction. No taking my measurements, either. I also get the vibe there have been past customer service challenges. I have never been to a exercise group where they had to take your driver's license. Needless to say, have to wait and see how the two months pan out. Unless they want to give a refund.
