Outdated equipment. Not really enough room. Not too crowded though. Very friendly staff
Not bad equipment (could use normal, straight, long pullup bar that most of the gyms including this one don't have), 24/7 access for members, can't take your shirt off and it gets pretty hot in there during summer.

Not in the greatest shape, no A/C, but never crowded and has basketball, racketball, heavy and speed bags as well as all the weights and cardio machines you could want.
Probably one or two steps up from a motel fitness center. Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration - plenty of machines, but not much as far as free weights. Cramped, and if there are even more than ten people in the area you're going to walking all over each other.
Good place for work out. It has most of the equipments that you need.

It's a moderate sized gym with most of the equipment you could need. It has a full sized basketball court, racquetball courts, a room with free weights and boxing equipment.
It also has a decent sized weight room, and an average size cardio room. Its free, however you have to have access to Lackland AFB to use it.

Plenty of new machines and treadmills! However, it's a bit small and the A.C. was out.
locker and shower facilities could use an upgrade but the work out machines and weight areas are great.

The Warhawk has the most equipment on base. But, Chaparral has 24 hour access. It's free can't complain to much :)

Broken equipment, building in disrepair, dirty, and safety hazards. Bathrooms and locker rooms are horrible, the rest of the gym matches. One of the worst Air Force gyms I have ever been to.
