It's really organize, I was able to find where all the workout station were and are separated by what type body it exercises
We have been members for 2 months now and two stars is the best I can do. I was also charged the annual fee unexpectedly. I now understand that it was in the paperwork but it was never mentioned when signing up. Stefan was no help in resolving this matter and I now feel it's purposely omitted from their pitch just to get members. It should be revealed before committing as a courtesy so members are aware. There is a lack of professionalism at this gym. The front desk is often unmanned and if someone is there, they are on cell phones. Trainers that are at the gym but with no open schedule play football outside of the gym in the parking lot. Stefan is of no help so you have to go above him to resolve issues. The gym member sales department needs a lot of work. I have brought up issues to Johnny and he seems to be the most understanding and he had addressed my concerns in front of me. Our trainer Arturo is outstanding. He is very much appreciative.
This was a blast! Ran into Andrew; and he gave me a guest pass: I used to work at a gym, and love trying new ones! The facility is super clean, and wasn't crowded. The pool was not too warm, and perfect for laps. The sauna was in the locker room, had wood benches, and was amazing! Stephan was also really kind; and I talked with Hunter briefly on the way out. What a great experience! :) Thank you L.A. Fitness!
Definitely a place to relieve stress and get motivated to lift heavy weights. Get in.. get it done.. feel good and then your done.

They werent told nothing about it. No courtesy for others working out. Excuse us but sorry but this isnt a private gym to be doing that. If thats kind of gym we'd want to go to we'd go to the East Side. We were so annoyed that we walked out and left. Restrooms were disgusting. We'd strongly suggest the Babcock and Huebner location. Much better in general except they have a male psychopathy White male manager with glasses over on Babcock LA Fitness. From feedback we received he will refuse to give you your id back when you give it to them when you ask to tour the gym if you do not sign up for a membership. His response is that he doesnt have to give it back and becomes argumentative! Then he acuses you of trying to just bring in a friend for free. Never again will we bring a guest to tour your horrendous establishment nor utilize any of your services not any of its facilites in the San Antonio area. This gym is much better than the one closer to 1604 on west side off Potranco. Gym has two levels, cardio equipment is upstairs and machines downstairs. Two times the equipment as the other la fitness and 2 times the size.

5 times a week, has a basketball court, punching bags and other normal stuff. Also has a pool, only reason I give it 4 stars is well, it doesn't have a traditional powerlifting platform so whenever people deadlift, your ears ring from the metal clanking against the concrete

I love my gym! Especially in the early morning. Not too crowded and environment just feels so much nicer. Gets a little crowded in the evening so I recommend morning or early afternoon workouts!

I hate the fact that they attack you to try to buy there personal trainer, but other than that it is a super nice gym
Dirty facility. Hot tub is filthy and the pool has algee growing around edges and in drain collectors. Advertized as consistently 82°. NOT!

Could be great place if kept cleaner. Pool not always warm as advertised. Hot tub has too many bad days of white foam, greasy, & moldy!

Every week there is something wrong with stair master/stair climber, (tv inoperable) I bring it to their attention and it seems like I'm bothering the night staff. In addition, please have cleaning crew thoroughly clean treadmills and stair masters. Not to mention the strong oder towards the westside of the second floor (near treadmills). Please do something!
Love the equipment and staff. The only thing I don't like is going after 5pm because it's always full almost all equipment are being used.

Ok, this is the thing. I was eager to go to LA Fitness for a whole year. I finally got membership there. So, my 1st day was last week. All the treadmill, bikes, and other equipment was on the 2nd floor. Everything else on the 1st floor. I'm disabled and I have nerve damage on my legs. I have a hard time going up the stairs. Which I don't mind. I need to build up strength. But, I do mind when people are staring at me and I'm struggling to get up there. Embarrassing for me. Because I look like in my 30's instead of 46. Plus, when I got up there. As I was on the treadmill. I saw people getting on and off of it. La Fitness doesn't offer paper towels and chemical to wipe down after each use of the equipment. Their not like Planet Fitness. I saw one Cleaning Porter there and all she did was look into the cup holders and just took trash from there. She did no sanitizing or nothing. Good Bye LA Fitness. I'm going back to Planet fitness. So, I give them a 1 star.
Good facility, clean reasonable. For the most part when I am motivated to get to the gym I enjoy it. However, I dread that once I get back I start getting all the pushy sales calls. If I wanted a personal trainer I would have asked for one. I would give 5 stars if they would just back off.
Once you get past the pushy sales team and their tactics, the gym is very nice. The gym is pretty large, has an adequate amount of equipment and amenities. The gym equipment is usually pretty clean, but if you are a clean freak, just bring some wipes. Unless you have a fitness trainer there, you will hardly ever interact with the staff. The front staff love to socialize amongst themselves, but would be nice if they walked around every once in a while to enforce gym rules and check/fix equipment that has errors or to put back weights. That brings me to my next point. Some gym members don't respect the equipment or other members. They like to try and hog 3 or 4 machines for themselves and do a circuit workout. I usually just ignore them and take over the machine if that's the only one open. Then you have some members that will spend almost an hour on a bench in the free weight area, lifting literally just one or two times, resting for a couple minutes on their phone or loathing over themselves in the mirror, and repeating. They look embarrassing. Lately, many of the treadmills have had errors on them, some for weeks. Please fix them! I still give this gym 4 stars, due to the size, equipment, and the ratio of members that have good etiquite vs the egomaniacs compared to others.
Contemplated changing to other gyms such as Anytime Fitness & World Gym. After comparing plans, member dues, & customer service I decided to stay with LA Fitness. It is easy to sign up, you can walk in anytime to check it out and talk to someone. Fives stars for variety of equipment plus the pool.
Mostly upscale thugs go to this particular branch... all the other locations are much better. No wi-fi, and they don't have all the weight machines that the other locations have. Not worth negotiating all the construction and road blocks to get there.
My husband walked in to get a quote, spoke with Brandon and Brandon asked him for his card to put on hold so he could have the information ready when my husband was ready to sign a membership. Today we realized LA fitness charged $200+ to our account WITHOUT permission, my husband DID NOT sign ANY paperwork. He did not authorize for LA fitness at all (not verbally or written) to withdraw any amount on from out bank account. I am furious and I we will be seeking a refund and if not a merchant dispute will be started.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this scam.

Decent Gym but the manager is a scam artist. My question was Would I'd be able to put my account on hold to join the military and I was told yes there would only be a one time fee so I agreed and got membership well the time came and i needed to put my account on hold and he told me that I had to pay 10$ monthly.
