Very nice!
My children really enjoy this gym.
The people there are very friendly and helpful
Because we love the trampoline...and coaches!
Great coaching, poor misleading management. They say one thing but then do another, making errors that cost you money after giving assurances that it wouldn't. Avoid if you enjoy dealing with companies that don't take advantage of their customers.
I've lived in SA for 20+ years, this gym was a part of the landscape in my daily commute back in 1996. That stability speaks volumes about the quality, staff, and their leadership. Fast forward to 2017- I researched gymnastic camps, I chose Sunburst. I was glad to be back in my old 'hood to take my son, it was totally worth the extra commute. Though my son has very little gym experience, I wanted to avoid the cookie cutter gymnastics franchise/daycare setting where they may also offer karate, and the instructors learn to teach karate by DVD(true story). I wanted quality instructional time. We got that! It took awhile for my son to feel comfortable in the small group, so he basically had his own instructor for the first day or 2. The staff members were very nice and accommodating! Day 3 my son was more comfortable to practice and play amongst the other children, yay! On Day 3 he was horsing around with a little girl and her cousin(regulars@Sunburst)in the gym with adult supervision and other children their age. Little girl was sitting on a beam,my 6 yr old innocently/playfully poked her in the bellybutton. Not sure if her midriff was showing, not sure if they were tickling, but..
kids are expected to play. They're all around the same age, she's sitting, he aimed to poke her belly button, his aim was off and he accidentally poked her in an area we all teach our children is "off limits". Once. Not continuously. They were NOT in a secluded area or tucked away in the corner of the gym. Understandably the little girl and her cousin immediately went together and told an adult in charge. I got a precautionary call, it was decided that he didn't do it intentionally. I appreciated the professionalism. I later became mortified. The little girl's father accused Sunburst of allowing little boys to "touch" girls. The father told them if they didn't make my son leave camp, he would picket outside so everybody would know that Sunburst allows inappropriate touching. I am sure he eventually threatened a civil suit. We were the new outsiders, they were the regulars; now my 6 yr old is a pervert who fondled this dudes daughter and the cousin is her witness...awesome. Nathan and the coaches all agreed that the incident was taken out of context, it was an innocent mistake. They were SO NICE. I still felt horrible, my son was humiliated, and was VERY apologetic. My son did not return for the duration of the camp. We've taught and lectured our son about keeping hands to himself, but horseplay and silly behaviors are to be expected at age 6, right? SO, when you read the review that includes the most horrific accusations, this is the(very long and detailed)other side of the story. Nathan, Sunburst, and the coaches ARE GOOD PEOPLE.

Nathan is a great coach and a stand up guy. They have many fine instructors, and the office staff is tremendous!

The coaches are great with the kids. We've had a couple of birthdays here and the kids always loved to play in the open gym. Fees seem a little more reasonable than other places around.

Although my daughter liked going here for gymnastics, the staff at the office are horrible on getting back with you. I called almost daily and left messages, Facebook messages, left comments on Facebook, no one ever answered back...except once when I believe it was the owner. It was only when I blew the company up that someone returned my call. The coaches are all young and one of them was very flirtatious with my husband. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I have just recently joined this gym and I just love it , i have learned so many new skills already in just two months , also coach Nathan the owner I have to admit can be a bit harsh sometimes but once you get to know him, You just love him . Also I am in level two and my coach I feel so safe with her , she litterly knows exactly when to catch you and to make sure your safe if you ever fall on any skills . The fans and AC do break a lot but that's one small problem . It feels clean which is the best thing !!
****A BOY HERE TOUCHED A GIRL INAPPROPRIATELY AND NO ACTION WAS TAKEN***!!!When I found this out I immediately removed my daughter from the gym and I recommend if you have a daughter here and care about boys inappropriately touching them, you remove them to. When brought to the owners attention he had no policies in place for this type of situation. I expected some action to take place especially being that the demographic is all girls. A BOY TOUCHING A GIRL IN HER PRIVATE PARTS with no action is unacceptable. I will be contacting the BBB today and filing a complaint. We were already dissatisfied with the lack of attention, trip hazards and cleanliness of the place and we're considering moving gyms, but this really did it. The owner is very disrespectful and cursed at me and yelled over the phone. We have been at this gym for over 2 years and we're shocked to be treated as if it were our first week there.
The owner Nathan Britt is a 1st degree thief. In short, he added things to his work order in which it was not on original contract. Then refused to take back a refund for our remodeling project, on first walk thru. He persisted in getting his job done then stole from our company at the end. Beware of this man. He is a thief and a liar!!!!!!!!
THIS IS THE BEST GYM EVER NATHAN IS SO SWEET AND FUNNY AND SO IS MY COACH THIS A IS A GREAT GYM THEY MAKE U FEEL AT HOME AND I AM JUST SO GLAD THAT I CHOOSE THIS GYM.
I have been going to this gym since October 2016. I was told by my coach before she left the gym that she would make sure I got on team. The coaches made a plan to let me try out on July 4th then lied, saying none of them were there, despite having classes obviously going on that day. Staff are unprofessional and don't teach much skill wise. Would not recommend wasting your money at a dirty, hot gym with little equipment
