Love the coaches, well equipped, friendly environment. Not intimidating, just fun people and great scalability for my injuries all the way up to the super competative.
Family oriented box!
This is my 2nd box in San Antonio and has become my new CrossFit home. The trainers and members are all great. I felt welcomed my first time and continue to feel welcomed every time I enter the box.
This box has people of all fitness levels and the trainers do a good job of understanding how to push each member to reach new heights. They even train people with disabilities which made me appreciate this place even more.
Aside from the training they have an area for your kids to play and watch you kick butt on the WODs. And if they are interested they have KidsFit. When I have kids of my own I'm bringing them to CrossFit Born Ready.
I don't see myself going anywhere for a longtime. If you want to try CrossFit or want to find a new box. I'd say give this place a shot.
I took a trip to visit friends and family in Texas and wound up extending my family tree a bit further. The staff and patrons at CFBR very warmly opened their doors to me during my 3 week stay in San Antonio. The professionalism of the staff is by far the best I've witnessed. They watched me goof a few techniques and re-taught me on the spot! This hands on experience helped me regain confidence and continue with the WOD successfully. I will truley recommend this establishment to all ages and levels of functional fitness people who stop in SA. Cheers!
This box is amazing! They provide many amenities and the classes are well organized. This box has helped me to be a better athlete, I have made so much progress. They have many classes and are open 7 days a week! I truly call these people my family, they would drop anything to help. Come workout with us!

Y'all moved into our neighborhood about a year ago and we've enjoyed having you fill the spot, BUT your early morning and late night hours coupled with your extremely loud music is out of control. How can we come to an agreement without having this get ugly? Several neighbors have reached out to you to "fix this" yet it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. I understand y'all created a Go Fund Me account to pay for a temporary location. How long will it be before y'all go back? Not everyone's hours of work and play are the same as yours and the lack of respect towards your neighboring neighborhood is getting old quick.

I have been a member of 3 boxes and have dropped in at a dozen others. CFBR is by far the best box I have ever been to! My wife and I have been members for about 9 months and have grown in strength, confidence, and discipline! We look forward to the WODs every day! If you want to be part of a gym that will push you to your best and part of a community that is for each other, give CFBR a try!
I started Crossfit about a month and half ago. I have not worked out for a long time and was very nervous about doing crossfit. Crossfit workouts are something I've never done before. I've been soo welcomed by the staff and other members. They are so patient with me. Weight lifting is very foreign to me. All the staff have been teaching me and encouraging me. I would recommend this box to anyone.

Recently joined CFBR in Helotes. The gym is awesome. Great trainers great box. Crossfit is done the real way there, no frills just hard work and good instruction. If you love real Crossfit you will love this gym. The owners and trainers are very involved which is something i have not seen at other gyms. Great place for sure.
We went to four boxes here in the far west side before we made our decision to go to CrossFit Born Ready- im pretty sure we knew right after the workout that this is where we wanted to come and workout. Staff is amazing- love the attention we get from the coaches with help on our form and motivation to keep pushing; and the people are great too. It's a very friendly atmosphere and we have felt welcomed since day 1!
CrossFit Bandera Road is just what a CrossFit box ought to be! Love this! It's rugged and open. The coaches are hard working, friendly and very helpful. They know when to push you to the next level and when to stop and correct your form. I have achieved things that I never thought possible. It is conveniently located in Old Town Helotes, TX, a great area. If you come to CrossFit Bandera Road you will be welcomed like you are family. I love this about it!
