We LOVE this Gold's location!! Although not our Home location, hopefully we can transfer our membership to the Tezel location. Much better "feel" here. Staff is always super nice and helpful. Plus it was clean, as usual.
This location recently updated alot of its equipment and is well kept. The staff is always friendly.
Staff is very friendly . They want to make sure you do it properly so you don't hurt yourself .
Small gym, not as busy as larger locations. People are friendly and don't give judgmental looks. Used to be a 4 star experience due to old equipment but they just upgraded everything and it is the best experience you can get out of a gym.

Had such a bad experience...went to see the place and they didn't even gave me a tour of the gym. Noel, only gave me the schedule for the classes and point out the equipment and areas of exercise. Make me feel very uncomfortable.

Great gym, it is in a shopping strip and has a neighborhood gym feeling. They have towel service and a sauna, swimming pool and whirlpool.
Golds gym on Bandera next to Home Depot.

Cons: crowded in morning
Small sauna
No steam room
Small kids club area, may have wait on weekends
Golds Gym Bandara point location next to Kohls.
Pros: Less crowded during the week.
Bigger kids club area with large climbing area
Has both sauna and steam room
Has a seperate Woman's workout area
Cons: Has older equipment
No cinema room
The layout can lead to getting crowded very fast in free weights area
I was traumatized so badly that it has taken me a couple of months to report this. My granddaughter and I were in the pool when all of sudden we were overcome by Chlorine Fumes. We were in bad shape, could hardly breathe, it was difficult to get out of the pool due to the strong smell in our system. We were both coughing uncontrollably. Once out of the pool my granddaughter started vomiting. I have pics and a witness who saw it all. The manager made a report but said I couldn't see it, it was internal she said. The manager said that her employees didn't smell anything and let me know everything was ok. We know what occurred but the manager insisted nothing was wrong! Beware of this pool.

Usually go to the legacy trails gym. Went here because I had business to take care of in that area. It's different but not for the right reasons. The dumbbells have fatter than normal handles and unless you have large hands it's very hard to grip them no paper towel dispenser anywhere in the weight area. Not as many squat racks or places to dead lift

Everything I've been looking for! New equipment, a pool, beautiful locker rooms, a sauna, a women's only area (for my girlfriend), and much more! The location is superb, as it does not get very busy during lunch hours.
Love the class trainers there, especially Caitlin for body pump. She knows her stuff and is highly motivating!
It's small, old, and not on the main path so it has been kept in great condition, not trampled or ever crowded. All the equipment is in top condition. The air is always cool
