Gold's Gym a Great place if you want to Knockout a quick workout for the day. They will always take care of your needs, and will assist you with any concerns you may have. Me and my father have been working out here for the last 2 years, and have been very satisfied with this gym! #fitness #gym #body #texas

Classes are upbeat and energizing! Self work out Stations are Super great ! Stop by the Sauna after a great workout to relax your muscles. Love this place !!!

If you get in before peak hours it's all good. Starts getting busy around 4pm. It's fine and everything works. My only issue is that the dumbells are mixed badly and some don't have labels so you dont know what you're picking up. 55lbs placed where 10lbs go etc. It's actually horrible. My other thing is that the staff isn't great. I mean like no hello/goodbye type of thing. There was one person who was super personable but that's about it. He was there Wednesday around 3pm up front. Didn't catch his name but a cool dude. I'll still come here 4 out of 5 times because it's a plus to not workout with so many people around. My other gripe is why are there only 3 squat racks?

Helpful and apparently everyone knows each other. Quick to find a spotter with a rando. Even quicker if you casually play basketball outside for workout networking.

I am here daily. Sometimes twice a day. The gym is a great place to relieve stress and extend your life. This location is nice and the staff is very attentive. They know me by name and know what I need when I arrive. They all work hard to keep the gym tidy but when there are muscle heads trying to get that pump, they aren't really thinking of cleanliness so they leave weights either on the machines or on the floor. This location has a smoothie bar, a section with cold drinks such as preworkouts and protein in the front area. This location has a cardio cinema where you can watch movies while you do cardio, saunas, hot tub, and pool.

It's a nice facility, but it gets dirty really quickly, sometimes seems like the staff doesn't do too much to take care of it, and it's almost always very busy.

Great gym , only problem is the basketball court is always taken up by the bootcamp classes seems like everyday, so you cant play fullcourt!! I play basketball for my cardio so now i get half the workout because there is only a halfcourt plus it makes its crowded, cant yall use another area for bootcamp??

I joined and never got a tour of the facility. People at the front desk barely speak when you walk in. There are a ton of people here all the time! I often feel like I'm fighting the men for the equipment. There are no dumbbells smaller than 10 pounds out in the gym. You have to hope there aren't any classes so you can use the smaller weights in the room, but then you get kicked out.

This is a great gym, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities and equipment is always clean and working. I enjoy their sauna, outdoor pool and jacuzzi. They also have a cinema cardio room with a different movie that loops all day long. Plenty of classes to choose from with a variety of intensity levels for different people. I highly recommend visiting this gym and consider becoming a member.

Gym is spacious and has a lot of up to date equipment. I would give it a five star if i wasn't always looking for dumbbells and if the music wasn't so loud. it is hard to hear my music because of the loud pop music in the background. 90% of the ppl have their own music so i don't think it is just me who is bothered by it

Definitely better than the other Golds Gyms I've been to in San Antonio though!

Great gym. Seriously. Put away all the stereotypes that you may have had about joining a gym. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable on the patrons goals. There is a mix of people groom young to old, beginner to professional, to the hardcore and recreational. The best thing about the gym itself is the lighting.

We prefer this location over the Valley High one. It feels like there is more natural light on there and much more open. However, the sauna doesn't feel as turned up as I feel it should. That's just my personal liking, but otherwise, we like this gym.

The 30 day notice is confusing when they charge you for another month after the cancellation notice and then use the last month credit after that. It seems better if they would have told me to give a 60 days notice. I'm very disappointed in what I think is a misleading policy.

Newer than other San Antonio locations, a great place to work out. Could do with a few more squat racks but this gym offers a heck of a lot. Worth the value!

Just informed of their new hours closing at 8pm on the weekends. Now Golds is just like the rest of the corporations. Clearly more interested in saving the cost of their minimum wage workers than having reasonable hours for those of us who work weekends. Time to find a new gym.

Come to this gym almost everyday. Love it! People and staff are friendly and courteous. A wide variety of equipment from cables to free weights, plenty of cardio machines, 2 racquetball courts, basketball court, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and they also have a smoothie bar. I'm sad that they're no longer 24 hours because during peak hours, it gets packed. I recommend this gym to all my friends but I tell them to visit on off-peak times.

Great gym with excellent selection of machines, cables, and free weights. One of my favorite gyms to train in, with cool members and staff; it just gets too packed during peak hours.

It's a big, nice gym. Most of the staff is friendly. I am giving it 4 stars only because theres some employees who will just swipe your card, not say hi or anything at all and just give a mean look. I feel like some people just forget or don't know what customer service is. It does get really packed during certain times. It's my favorite gold's location to go to.

Terrible customer service. It's one thing to not have the information I'm asking for, and quite another to tell me the wrong information in an effort to tell me to get lost because you're closing soon.

The equipment is pretty good but usually there is a lot of weights left laying around. I seem to spend as much time picking up after lazy people as I do lifting. And lately the only news stations available to view are liberal stations like ABC. I think a public gym should be devoid of politics. Either keep a balance of liberal stations and conservative or turn the news off completely and play only sports stations, local news and/or Golds stations.

Re-stock paper dispenser around the gym and in the restroom. I've been to cheaper and larger gyms and this was a non-issue.
Clean and wipe the bathroom every once in a while awhile. I know you have genators that come in, but a simple wipe and re-stocking of paper shouldn't be an option.
Have a freshman employee(s) do that.
And smile, make the paying customer feel like they are welcomed. Make eye contact. Smile. Not so much that I care about this. But ask how's the customer is doing?
