I love the selection of workout machines and free weights. Just wish the kids club was free like other gyms.
Huge, lots of machines and free weights, upstairs and downstairs, racket ball courts, great place!
This gym is in a elite area looks great outside but inside smells like a football locker room the men's locker room smells like wet rug and mildew. Equipment is really old and not well taken care of need to be remodeled asap.
David, the LA Fitness Personal Training Director is in the business of harassing current members into signing up for personal training. If you enjoy being bullied into personal training at your gym of choice then this location is for you. You can look forward to late night unsolicited text messages questioning your level of success in life. David doesn't value his customers work schedules and assuredly is only here to help people get fit. If you want a personal training director that will stop at nothing to get you to commit to get another financial obligation then this is the location to choose. If you're looking to feel like a victim then you've come to the right place.
Awesome place. There are two floors in this building.
Keeps little crowded in the evenings. But overall its good place for workout, swimming, basketball, raqcuetball and has a kidszone also.
There's just no sense of community here. If what you're looking for is a place to keep your earbuds in, never make any connections and just workout with your head down this is for you. If you need help and like building your community for accountability stay away.

Pretty great spot. It's always clean and not messy which is a first since most LA Fitness I've gone to looks like a mess. Only issue is the antiquated squat racks. They are good if you're tall, but sucks if you're small.

This club in Plano is not well maintained, and the Sauna is being closed for a while - said to be awaiting repair. I would rather be in a more lively Gym

This location is clean. Like, three locker room doesn't smell like sweat. Bathrooms aren't urine infested. Facilities in general are clean.
Never too busy. Always clean and has a friendly environment. Only complain is LA Fitness has no 24 hour gyms nearby. And the manager is very hard to find always working out at a Signature LA Fitness while she is suppose to be working here.

I love LA Fitness on the East coast. I'm used to bust but clean fyms. This place unfortunately doesn't cut it. The running machines look 10 years old and if you run over 4mph or weight more than a baby goat then expect it to make A LOT of house. It literally subsso like the machines are screaming for help when you go for a light jog. The free weights aren't uniform etch isn't a big deal but definately changes a workout if you're a seasoned lifter.
They need more cable locations too. They're in the corner and never available.
Also, don't go here at 5pm. They've oversold membership and no machines are available.
Sorry but this isn't a location I recommend while I still think LA fitness as a whole is great
I've been working out here a few months now. When I signed up I salesperson assured me it was 60 dollars which I paid cash and joined. Within a few days I had charges on my credit card which the sales person obviously lied to me about to make the sale or didn't know what he was talking about. Eather way I was lied to and charged extra ( double this because i signed up 2 people so this happened to both accounts) I was lied to in order to make me purchase a contract which now I and my s.o are both stuck under. Complete nonsense. I feel like I got robbed
They need to clean their equipment better. I saw the same stain on Monday and again on Thursday. Looks like some crud from a drink or melted candy.
Great place to workout but needs to close later like the other l.a fitness, 10 pm is too early.
Had a membership here for over a year now. The only reason I keep going back is that it's convenient to where I live and work. The place is dirty. It's disappointing.
This place is disgusting. equipment never cleaned, hot tub always has green and yellow skin floating in it. The kids swim lessons coach never watches the children. complete waste of time. Management is extremely rude. Child services held a child by their head in one hand and my 6 month old child by its shoulders. Child's area employees admitted they did not know how to do CPR and that anyone can fill in at the childs area. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Nice place, and accommodating staff .. but someone stole my work out shoes today morning .. I heard that it is the 3rd instance in the past couple of months
Needs more chicks to be at the front desk. Simra is fantastic but she's never there. I feel more motivated to work out when a hot girl welcomes me VS when a guy does. But overall I like this gym.
Been going to this gym past few years, I like it. Environment is good. The only thing is that the gym could use some newer equipment and more free weights.
I have had great experiences at this location. The staff is amazing they are so nice and helpful they motivate you and always say something positive. The equipment is in great condition and they have a variety of machines to choose from to focus on different parts of the body. They offer classes, child care onsite, pool, sauna and hot tub, and you can get a trainer if you need one.
Fantastic value for a gym. LA fitness has all the essential equipment I need for my workouts (would like to see the neck exercise machines brought back but I understand it's a liability issue). The price is competitive compared to other similar gyms. Obviously, you won't get the same experience as an upscale place like Lifetime Fitness, but you are also paying much less for the membership. The locker rooms smell musty at times, but overall the facilities are maintained pretty well, ok bluffing the shower and pool areas. I have also always found the staff to be attentive, helpful, and friendly.
An adequate facility, much to work with and given multiple bonus options with no cost.
Good place to workout when you're traveling but the locker room smells like feet please change the carpet to something hard surface
Update: New cleaning staff is busting their butt! I've never seen it cleaner. Morning person had on rubber gloves and was dripping in sweat to scrub the showers. Place looks great and smells good for a gym.
