We use YMCA for after school care and have for about 3 years. We love it and they always have great staff!
Our 7 year old loves the summer program. The weekly field trips are fun & she enjoys all the activities they offer. The staff is attentive & engaging.
My two children love the after school program hosted by the YMCA. I am greeted with a smile, the children there are having fun, and they hardly ever want to leave. It's a great experience for everyone!
They shut this facility down. The new Das Rec opened and they apparently did not want to compete.

This is not the largest facility, but it is really clean. It is never packed, and the child care that is provided is great. They really do care about the kids. The equipment is rather good, and it is a great place to get a workout in.
My son enjoys after school care, he plays with his friends and has a good time. Randy and Lonnie are awesome!!!
My daughter loves to go to YMCA afterschool. She has made some really nice friends (some from other schools). The staff is always positive and gives great encouragement to parents. She actually gets upset if we pick her up too early!

Love that sports is available to all and kiddos are able to work with volunteer coaches. Player pledge is great too and the team had a blast having fun on the field.
LOVE the childcare! This is the number one reason that we chose the Y and have continued to attend at 4-6 days a week for the last three years (have now moved to Schertz and now go to that Y but this stands for the New Braunfels location as well)! All of the staff have been very friendly, professional and kind. The facility is clean and any concerns I have expressed have been attended to within a very timely manner. THANK YOU YMCA, we will miss you Very much and I sincerely wish I could take you with me.

So much you can do here from calasses, to cardio machines, to swimming. They have a kids zone for parents to put children so they can work out.
