Two months ago, I went in and inquired about having my 11 year old work out, to build stamina on club sports, and was told I needed to upgrade my membership, and sign a waiver for her to do so.
FAST FORWARD, we just tried to have her start working out. DENIED!
Not only did the rep lie to me about being able to have her work out, when we attempted to check in then the front desk tells me she has to be 13. In thinking that this was a mistake, I ask for the manager. She tells me the policy is 13, and then asks me who told me she could come and work out. At the same time she tells me it's company policy, and begins to blame her staff, citing she'd only been there since April. ( Griselda's her name, stop in and say hello) . AFTER all this, a boy walks in about the same age as my daughter.
My problem: 1.) Why upsell me and tell she could work out, if the policy was 13, and 2.) Why blame the short comings on understanding a policy that is obviously not being enforced (the other kid whose parents obviously lied on the waiver). CAUTION.
