Having trained and coached in a few different world class gyms across the country, I can honestly say that this facility has no peer when it comes to training environment, brother/sisterhood, and a no nonsense take on the art of jiu jitsu. Nothing is perfect, but if you would like to get as close as possible, there is no better place than shebaro jiu jitsu; where your actions define you, and the only limit is the one you place on yourself

Great gym with a great atmosphere. Newcomers are warmly welcomed by staff, instructors, and students. The gym is well laid out and classes are a good size consisting of all belt levels which made for a good variety of training partners.
Alan Shebaro has a methodical approach to teaching techniques which makes them easy to follow and understand why they work. His competitive record speaks for itself so you can rest assured the techniques have been tested and proven to work. He changes up the techniques he teaches well which provides a good variety. Even the high level brown belts are learning something new each class.
I would recommend this gym to anyone of any skill level that wants to build a solid, well-rounded game.

Simply the best martial arts training you will find. Professor Shebaro is a 3rd degree blackbelt in the proven martial art discipline of Jiu Jitsu. As an out of town visitor, I visited Tier 1 and had an incredible experience. Professor Shebaro taught with immense detail and improved my understanding of Jiu Jitsu. Whether you are new to Jiu Jitsu, or an experienced Jiu Jitsu practitioner, Tier 1 is worth visiting.

Whatever your reasoning for getting into jiu jitsu is, this is the place to train. Most physical encounters/fights WILL end up on the ground, so it is important to learn how to move on the ground. Jiu Jitsu is the best martial art for learning this! Professor Shebaro will help you attain your goals and he is completely dedicated to making his students better every single day. As a woman, I feel welcome at this gym and not intimidated walking in. Also, my male training partners know how to help me better my skills without hurting me! If you want to learn self defense, gain confidence, lose weight, get in the best shape of your life, this is the place to train.

Magnificent instruction from Prof Alan Shebaro. His knowledge and ability to teach BJJ from beginners to seasoned grapplers is remarkable. A passionate Professor who wants you to succeed.
Place was clean and well kept.
No negative attitudes.
Most likely would have given 5 stars; I did not witness the kids classes.

Super clean and friendly environment where you can safely learn an awesome martial art, Jiu Jitsu. Professor Shebaro takes the time to really help you grow your style and game. With wrestling and Judo inspired Jiu Jitsu you'll build confidence while making new friends. See ya there!

I've been a student at this gym for one year now... Professor Shebaro is an incredible instructor. There is a reason for everything and he goes to great pains to make sure you understand the what and the why of BJJ. I also travel and visit other gyms due to work. I can always hold my own with others with different coaches and styles of instruction. I couldn't recommend Teir 1 and Coach Shebaro highly enough.

Tier 1 Training Facility is an awesome place for children & adults to train. A place where belts are earned, not given. Professor Shebaro is phenomenal in his guidance and teaching.This is a special place with competitive & friendly training partners. Come see for yourself!

This gym is phenomenal. What I love about training here is that Professor Shebaro customized genuinely cares about the safety and growth of his students and teaches accordingly.
Whether you are experienced or brand new Tier 1 is a great learning environment and a safe place to train.

Tier 1 is an amazing find... so much talent and great teammates that push and challenge each other to the next level up. Professor Shebaro is unequivocally talented, but more importantly 100% committed to helping each and every one of his athletes achieve their own level best. It's a great place for men or women, young or experienced. Do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself!
